The one shot is just going to be a Battle Royale. Vox Machina VS. The Mighty Nein. And therefore not canon. However I do have a fun fan theory that Allura is going to summon Vox Machina to aid The Mighty Nein in their battle against The Crawling King if they end up having to fight him!

My money would be on it being like the Trial of the Take episodes in campaign 1 except without guest players: in the first half half the cast play as their M9 characters and the other half as their Vox Machina characters, and then vice versa.

@@victorym744 the Tal Dorei council shouldn't have many if any at all members of Vox Machina. Most of them settled in Whitestone like Percy and Vex or are busy at various temples in Vasselheim like Scanlan and Pike.

Mason Miller I’ve been rewatching the first campaign- they said Keyleth and Percy/Cassandra would almost definitely be on it - and they would most likely still be on it. Both are of high ranking within the continent and would have a lot of influence on people

All of vox machina technically got one (shared) seat at the council I believe. It was one of the last things the king did in campaign 1. But I think most of them have probably better things to do. Spoilers for campaign 1 Vex and Percy are at Whitestone most of the time, keyleth is busy guiding her people, vax is dead, pike and Scanlan are probably in vasselheim, and Grog would be bored out of his mind by council meetings.

My bet is that NONE of them are part of the current council, but highly-regarded legends of the land. I imagine some weird event where the current council seeks their advice. Especially Grog's.
