Since military leaders seized control of the Western African country in late July, Niger's streets have seen protests against France's influence there. Meanwhile neighboring countries and Western nations have called for the immediate restoration of the elected government. In a further development, there have been electricity blackouts in major cities, after Nigeria cut-off energy supplies as part of sanctions. I have heard some excellent perspectives in recent days, I have made my analyses too in some quarters.
