Tried telling the AW training group in FB about controlled curls with good form and got bashed. I didn’t their approval to know I’m right about correct form. Not saying you can’t jerk and get a heavy weight up to do a negative hold for more weight then you can actually lift. But you know. Geniuses

you should have tried these with the hammer grip bar you had. the one that has the handles above the weight. that shit is crazy good. i did that with straps and now my wrist is healthier than a young baby

Most arm breaks happen when pullers aren’t looking at their hand. Because much as when you look off to the side while driving.. you leave your lane. When pullers look away they twist their bodies. Arm break.

My belief when it comes to 1rep pulls is that you should condition yourself overtime for that 1rep. The way muscle fibers grow from exercises depend on the type of such exercises tearing, healing, and becoming accustomed to such things. Your body adapts overtime by how you program it and the circuit style training is best because of the function strength gained from multiple reps of your normal 70 percent capacity. A few reps just push towards a body building, muscle mass body. It’s probably a fundamental flaw that ppl like chaffe and denis go by that approach to gain strength but Michael combines both weight resistance with circuit training for an overall better arm wrestling body. In the down season would be where Michael might benefit from shocking his muscles for a month or so with that style of training but as an active season athlete his approach leads to better longevity for the sport.
