Most superfund 'high growth' options still have a small allocation to cash and defensive assets like bonds. I'm early 30s so have opted for my funds 'International Shares' option which is 100% equities exposure. Great podcast series!

Most important matter for young investors - do not accept your funds balanced option - this one size fits all fund will not perform as well as more focused growth/international equities funds

It so frustrating how few Super companies let you buy into ETFs directly, and the ones that do allow it charge stupid high fees. SuperHero included unfortunately.

SuperHero fees at 0.76% are not competitve at all. Rest super has capped price fees, you only pay the admin fee which is capped at around $300 and there are no fees for the indexed International shares option or the indexed Australian shares option.

Hey guys, only recently found your channel and I'm enjoying the content 👍 I'm a bit of a late bloomer, being in my mid-30s, but having only worked in Australia for the past 7 years. Would love it if you guys did a video tailored to people in my position, who perhaps moved to Australia later in life, from places where there is no Super, and are looking to get the ball rolling quicker, for example.. Is it better to salary sacrifice in that position, or perhaps do FHSS if you've never owned property (and would like to when prices become semi-reasonable again 😅 ).. And does that 2nd lot of $52 fees kick in right at $50,000.01? .. A deeper dive into that would be interesting! Cheers

The biggest worry of these Super funds is how much they have in unlisted assets as my dad you to say bit like buying a pig in a bag
