I tried mikko and he was letting in terrible goals for me. I think dif goalies also work better for dif goalies tbh. Ppl have dif weaknesses in their play styles so it makes sense

You are absolutely correct. He’s the only goalie that has been consistently exceptional for me all year long. Doesn’t let in the weak goals other goalies do.

This game should be called, “NHL cross-crease simulator” It’s Unbelievable. The amount of times my opponent just closes their eyes and flings the puck directly into heavy traffic for a cross crease one-timer goal It’s like defensive awareness drops to -70 when in front of my own net

I think it’s bc when you forehand/backhand glide it like freezes the defender and goalie, dramatically increasing the chances of the pass getting through

For me it’s hands down oettinger, only time he concedes is cross creases and glitch goals that are just impossible to stop. Rarely gets beaten clean when I’m not screening my own goalie 😂 I’ve also found that he doesn’t concede nearly as many stupid weird bounces like I experienced with price and markstrom. Edit: I’d also like to add I use all his silver abilities. Light work best goalie ability and the others help with energy which to me is more useful

Ive been using Hasek since the start of the game, tried a few "meta" goalies in between and none came close to Hasek. Hes consistent as heck and can absolutely decide to steal games at times

Could Fleury with golden ”all or nothing” work? Atleast in offline he cuts passes more than other goalies so could help with cross creases.

I always find it fascinating how one of the best players in the whole game has a frustrating time playing because of not being able to defend even when you are in the lanes, now imagine what it feels like for a player who can only get 17 champ wins max or 15 or 13. It becomes unplayable.

The 86 markstrom has been absolutely carrying me in every game mode I tried to switch to the 91 demko but it did not feel better than the 86 markstrom so I switched back he’s lights out

When you do the between the legs deke, how do you control the puck so again so quickly? Every time I do it, I lose the puck if I try to get it back quickly. What am I doing wrong?

Sometimes that does happen. Usually when your player is low on endurance or has a lower deking rating. You might be doing the deke wrong also but if you get the animation off I doubt that is the case.

87 ASG Georgiev. I’ve played over 200 games with him, and can say with confidence, he’s very solid. The 84 Markstrom just didn’t have it anymore.
