I definitely think it’s a good idea to breed the young mamas that haven’t bred before with Zorro. You already know what kind of genetics Zorro has thrown before, so it’s easier to tell which traits the babies get come from the sire and which traits come from the dam. Since you’re also testing Finnick’s genes in a way as well, it would be better to breed him to the older does that have already produced a few kids so you can see what kind of genetics he throws in his kids.

I think with Reba and Dolly, it would be interesting to breed each to a different buck. You said you weren't enamored with Dolly's overall confirmation and think since Finnick has such a solid foundation, it'd be interesting to see how offspring from them would come out. Reba is a bit nicer, confirmation wise so it'd be neat to see offspring from Zorro and her :D

truthfully I would have bred Tatum ( and possibly tilly) with napoleon, they have a great frame and average capacity but they could definitely be improved with the side placements.

Loved this video. Ethan did a great job. It was interesting to see all the differences in the goats and learn about genetics. Genetics is a complicated subject because you never know when a gene from way back is going to surface. That is why some people who do a DNA test find out they have Neanderthal ancestry.
