You guys absolutely nailed it about ideology being forced down our throats. I had this same argument a few weeks ago with some nobody in another chat somewhere on KZbin and I wiped the floor with them 😂 simply by echoing the exact points you guys have made in this episode of your fantastic show... RTD is too big for his boots and who in their right minds would let a fat mouthed Ideological Activist use a World Record holder of a show as platform to express their PERSONAL AGENDAS?? Hi Eddie - the issue is the people around him ADORE him and suck up to him in an hourly basis. The BBC told me that he's nothing to do with them as he isn't a BBC employee. He leads them and they follow like sheep.

RTD's Who is pure fanaticism. Everyone must think as Davies does, anyone else is evil. I made the same point about classic Who and politics as you guys did on another channel. The guy who runs the channel told me I was a liar and no fan of the classic show. I told him I could tell him exactly when I started watching and what story it was. He never replied. Nuff said (It was Mr.Tardis btw).

Imho the only reason Gatwa was in Dr Who, was he was a pal of RTD and ticked ALL of the DEI BOXES.... ... it's ironic because when Jodie was in the role, my god how much exposition can one character do ! I said to many friends and family in a glib fashion, the next Dr will be gay and Black and will portray the character as such. Many disagreed saying the BBC wouldn't be so stupid.....yet here we are and NO I'm not Racist or a Homophobic person I applied critical thinking and logic after looking at the casting through their eyes. I haven't heard a single thing you guys have been saying about this travesty of a show that isn't on 🎯💯.....the point made about checking with Gatwa's Agent ( I had no clue who the hell he was tbh ) for availability just wouldn't have happened because of DEI & how many other "popular" young, gay black men are there in the profession??? It's box ticking. Ideology in favour of common sense. Btw, how does RTD KNOW that the rubbish he has made in the name of Dr Who is what young kids WANT to see??? Is this not a form of indoctrination??

It can be viewed as that. In ourlast Headlines show, we showed how the Production team get their info from a breakdown report from the BBC... I still can't understand how they can prove the age of people watching though!

@@WhosViews Tbh I don't think they can prove the age of the Viewers... I think they make up the ages to suit their purpose. They can't have figures that contradict anything they may have suggested in press releases or interviews about targeting certain age groups. Let's face it, they're desperately trying to save face. To try and distract people away from the blindingly obvious failure known as RTD, with the kind of writing one would expect from a far far Leftie Activist like him selfishly using Dr Who to air his personal grievances with Society.

@@WhosViews so the BBC are looking to waste over £100 million....wow and the fact no one finds this concerning is worrying. There again, the BBC's reputation plummeted when we learnt they'd protected Saville, Harris and Huw Edwards. Saville of course was the most prolific offender. I wouldn't be surprised if poor Jill Dando was killed to stop her exposing Saville. Let's also not forget the BBC may be paid for by the great unwashed it's very much State Run Media.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice was really good no woke or politics in there whatsoever so why can't Dr. Who go back to that? Even though i am a Jodie Whittaker supporter because i see no reason why the Doctor can't be female but that's just my opinion but i'm not one of those people that would force my beliefs onto other people if people don't agree to a woman Doctor i'm not going to call them sexists, misognysts or whatever that's their belief and they are entitled to it that's a human right that being said i do agree that "Arachnids in the UK" was a crap episode it was basically just normal spiders and the trump thing which wasn't needed and of course the strange ending where the Doctor is upset with trump guy for basically indirectly mercy killing by shooting a spider that was suffering in painful agony it's kind of cruel to let a spider die sufferably than putting the poor thing out of it's misery to which was out of the Doctor's character but i blame Chibnall for that piece of writing. I always enjoy watching your heated debates guys keep them coming.

It's pronounced CUM-REE (not SIM-ROO). No 'shade' intended, just FYI. But yes, it is terribly sad that either the pool of talent this side of the border is so poor - or the agenda is so obviously to 'big up' shows produced within Wales and thus 'protect the industry' (even if the output is risible). Anyone with a brain can see that our beloved Doctor Who has been hijacked to promote political agendas at the expense of story and characterization, and thus rubbish, for years.
