Janay Mickles is your hair heat trained? And if so would you mind doing a video on how you did it. Inhave 4c hair and been trying to find a way to make it easier for me to do my hair without getting a perm again . Cause I want to stay natural. And thanks for the review ❤👑

I'm speaking for myself & my experience with this product: I did search reviews when I purchased this about a year ago when I was around 6 months of no relaxer & my momma could not get my hair around the dang rollers without being already dry, so you can imagine the mission. I only came across 1 review of a girl that said her hair got hard after the conditioner use & I thought (that can't be) I used the product weekly for about a month & I can honestly say that on week 2-3 of the treatment, I could fully comb the caramel lux through my hair so it got in thereeeeeee. I leave it on for about an hour and then proceed to the wash & condition. I have no complaints about this product at all. Oye, at all! You cannot expect to take the passion of the Christ on top of your head and walk out of the shower as if you were Becky with the good hair, nope, it isn't going to happen over night. Consistency is key & i'm telling you all by month 1 my hair was definitely manageable. I even switched to every 2 weeks of the treatment & regular non-sulfate shampoo's in between. Before I had to flat iron or blow dry to get my edges & kitchen to look decent, now I heat press probably every 1-2 weeks those areas, sleep with my head scarf & wake up reds to go! I think everyone that already invested their money in it should try it weekly for 1 month & then see what's up. Smooches~

Her hair was already looking great and that's why she probably didn't really see much difference because she was already so used to it being silky and shinny . The beginning of the video, her hair looked so great! The fact that the product kept up with her silky healthy look, shows that the product in a way, works., and she didn't think it worked cuz, it did all the same as what she usually did. She has great hair so whatever she uses for her hair works very well already.
@loisa2458

I think her results are what naturals want to achieve with the product. I know I would be relieved lol For someone with treated hair, I think she wanted that flowy, silky weighted look but instead got a textured flowing yaki feel. Thats why she thinks its trash, her hair is practically straight and it didn't silken it.

Try using the E'TAE on a client with coarse hair. My oldest daughter has about 4c grade of hair (maybe a bit coarser than that) and no matter what I did or used or where I took her to be blown out or pressed out, no one could straighten her hair and get it flat enough or make the press or flat iron last long enough. She suffered great heat damage from tye last place i took her (it was a beauty school and 2 tenured students and the instructor worked on her) I looked everywhere for a product to not only undo the damage, but actually straighten her hair to where it was at least manageable. The E'TAE so far has been the only product that helped achieve the straightness I desired
@diagriffin6297

Also if I may add... Although I got good results on my daughter's that sh** is still overpriced. I paid $21.99/pc for the shampoo, conditioner and caramel treatment. The buttershine (not buttercream like i said earlier) was $14.99... They could provide way more product for those ridiculous prices...

I've been using it since 2017 and it's worked for my hair. I didn't have any crystalized pieces until I let the bottle sit in a different temp room (it's got honey and molasses in it so if not kept in a good area it will pretty much turn into a candy like substance ) It lasts about 2 weeks on me and I didn't have to worry about the humidity getting to my hair and my hair hates HATES the humidity. It's not for everybody's hair texture. I loved it and will continue to use it

1. I love watching your videos as they help me after a long day after work lol. 2. That bottle is expired. That is why it looked all crystalized. If you buy it online, it does not look like that at all. It's supposed to be solid and thick af. And Super sticky! 3. I will say maybe the texture of your hair could have affected the results as well. I'm sorry you feel you wasted your money! I felt like this product worked for me especially when transitioning over to a more natural look. I would do this protein treatment and then shampoo and condition with the same line products. I will say that I am more of a fan of the Shampoo and Conditioner because that shit feels sooooo good! After watching this though I can say you're right this product is not for you. :)

But I think it makes a big difference to people who have never had a silk press or seen their hair “silky” before. However, that is where the problem gets created because then they think that these products are the only ones that can make their hair look silky.

My hair stylist who happens to be my sister -in- law uses the set on my hair including the shampoo, conditioner, reconstructing treatment, and buttershine for a silk press. It works wonderfully on my hair. It blocks humidity never frizzes with the weather. It’s better than that Mizani blow out kit set which never lasted long for me. My hair is already healthy. It’s 3c/4a. So I guess everybody different. Also when she done the reconstructing treatment she set me under the hair dryer for 20 mins. The Kera care thermal silk press line is good.

Lia Lovett I agree. I use it on myself and my daughter. Both of us now have healthier and softer hair. It did revert back to our natural curls. Those saying it didn't work were maybe expecting too much. It doesn't straighten your hair. Blowing it out and flat ironing will. Their products promote healthy hair which is what we both received. Would recommend to others. Its funny people complain about the price but would pay much more for unnatural things. Lol

A few things that may have effected the results, the type of flat iron you used and temperature setting, in combination with your hair’s texture. Two, did you use the shea butter? You mentioned you paid $60 at $20 each, so an item would be missing, ‘cause at $20 each, shea included, it would be $80 approximately. Shea butter acts as a protectant and when heat touches it, it reacts and causes the hair to come out sleeker. I have the whole line from ETAÉ and have natural coarse hair. My hair was super soft, shiny, and sleek. The conditioner, I let sit on my head under a hooded dryer for 30mins, which allows the product to really work itself in for hair that is low porosity. That makes a big difference in how your styles come out. Hope that helps! 💕

While the Carmel treatment is the best stuff I've ever used on my hair and when I'm not using it I refuse to flat iron my hair because it makes my hair safer to flat iron. And it allows my hair to be stronger against humidity.

I feel if your hair is already trained it's not going to do that. But if you get a client with their hair that's not trained to straighten out on the first pull of a flat iron it does help. I have done the blowing out and flat iron it actually takes longer on someone with kinkier hair so I applied to eat a and it makes it a lot better and it last a lot longer four more kinkier hair. I don't think you would see the same results on hair that's pretty trained and already taken care of

I do understand this isn't for everyone. I use these products on my daughter's hair. She has super thick hair and is natural. I dont like the shampoo because it is hard to remove from her scalp. The caramel tx, conditioner and their Butter shine is awesome. Maybe if you used the buttershine, its tone used prior to flat ironing, the shine you are looking for would be present.

that buttershine stuff no matter how little you use, makes your hair greasy lmao. i tried this product line sometime at the end of 2016 and into 2017 and was disappointed. after running out i just went back to my ogx and tressemme bc my hair stayed straight for like 2 days before it puffed up and looked a greasy hot mess w that buttershine.

Arlene Forde I didn't know they had a Lavender line, I'm going to have to check it out. From my personal experience, Design essentials lasts longer. I prefer E'Tae because of the body and moisture I get. But it's so moisturizing to where it isn't humidity friendly whereas, DE is. I can't give up either so I go back and forth every few months.

Ight so some ppl might not agree with me because this product is very cheap....but try Whole Blends, the brown coconut line, the shampoo and conditioner is great for a very low price...its literally the only shampoo n conditioner I've found that's made my hair super soft afterwards and detanglws very well, I have 4c texture and it works wonders...I've tried going for more pricey products but, most don't be worth it...just paying for the name...try it out!

You really have to saturate the hair sectioning to apply like relaxer and the longer it sits the better the results I dont use the butter shine it can be too heavy depending on hair density...it didn't really look like you needed the treatment your hair was already in pretty good shape so you probably wouldn't see a difference unless it's in your natural state where you can see a more defined curl pattern when wet

Your Carmel treatment was crystallized. By accident I left my bottle on a radiator for like 20-30 minutes and it was good as new. So if you want to try it again (& it’s not expired) warm it up a little to get it back to the normal consistency. Overall I think this line is just ok. I think the Carmel treatment, shampoo & conditioner gives my hair just a little more moisture. The herbal scalp nutrient did nothing for my hair, but I do like the buttershine cause a little goes a long way. I agree, the products are expensive, especially when you feel they’re just ok

Girl your hair is growing!!!give me some tips I just cut my hair 3 months ago after severe dry damage trying to go natural I did not do it right at all so I'm trying to get it back healthy and really repair it.i tried a heat protectant before and I didn't like it made my hair very dry but than again maybe I just didn't use the right one.i shop on a budget so I don't get anything over 6 or 7 dollars.i just got my end clips right around the 3 month mark and it seems to look healthier and better but I know I have a long way to go before it's truly healthy again.ive done alot of damage to my hair over the last 4 years so I know I have a long way to go.
