My daughter told me this morning that she has been thinking of some of us family members getting together and buying some land. I believe she is getting closer to maybe moving out of California. That's terrible. You should get the information to your city leaders and suggest a plan for them, encourage them to make a TH community for the homeless on some unused city land, as they've done in several US cities already. They have central facilities for laundry, and services for the residents - mental health counseling, drug rehab, job assistance, and security. It could more than pay for itself if they can return to a normal, productive life and eventually move on to permanent housing (which the cities need to find solutions for, as well). Good luck.

Melody is doing such a great job of decorating these homes. Melody has the Interior Design skills. Love how she is the red and white inside the red and white outside. Love the table and chairs, the couch and the cabinet with the glass doors across from the kitchen. It makes me think of the Incred-I-Box, only the roof line is different, the walls, and windows. I have also seen the IKEA couch with a lounger, it has storage under the lounger and the other part of the couch pulls out into one full size bed. Just store the bedding under the couch. Then a coffee table with a lift top, that you can use as a desk or dinner table, they are pretty popular, and rightfully so. You can put holiday decorations in that bay window, and I can picture a tabletop Christmas tree in the center of the bay window, all decked out for Christmas which will be here before we know it. In the meantime, Halloween decor, Thanksgiving Decor and then Christmas Decor. With Christmas lights up and around the bay window, Christmas presents and the tree. Love that there are shelves in the bathroom on the side of the cabinet with the solar equipment. How much solar energy did the house get during the day? I have a NuWave Gold Induction Cooktop, and it can let me select between 600, 900 & 1500 watts, which would useful in a house that is off grid. You can select the lower wattage to save energy. Plus, it can be put away when not in use. You can use the countertop for other things, like making treats for the holidays, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I would make the Bay window a window seat with big flat cushion & pillows for a place to relax & read ,or knit or do hand sewing. And put the sofa bed /futon on the wall . Think there will still be room for a small drop leaf table & 2 chairs.

This is so beautiful. You have the best tiny homes I have seen. 💕 I just watched a KZbin video this morning, made by Glorious Life on Wheels. She shared a heartbreaking story of Kat, who is a single female senior nomad. She is poor, just lost her husband, she is battling cancer, her truck and trailer is falling apart, and she has to move her trailer in the middle of the night to avoid tickets, or being towed away. I wish someone could do a go fund me and give her one of these, to secure her in the hard times she is facing. She was so scared. Broke my heart. ❤

Really enjoy the door at the long end of the place because of that view of the entire home. You know, when people are needing to downsize to save on expenses or loss of energy, or move themselves out from under bridges...or just love the size and community these homes provide...what a pretty and affordable way to do it! I love this idea. However, I, myself would take the huge picture window out that is behind the sofa and put shelves in. Maybe, even enclose the shelves for storage. That is a useful space. There’s enough windows so the picture window is not needed in my opinion.

Me again This as just rolled around again on my youtube page and I gotta tell ya I want it more than ever now lol I just saw another ad on KZbin of Land available in Cochrane Ontario its northern from me bout 12 hr drive but the north is beautiful and good eating fishing!!! the land is for $10. hard to believe but it is lol It would seem things are pushing me in this direction as renting is at $1200.00 and up for 1 bedrooms here just not doable and try to live!!!! Thing is Getting the 8X16 over here would be too costly so Im better off coming there and renting a lot on Buffalo Creek that you offer !!!
