Who would've thought unlubed MX2A Blacks sound really good, Hyperglides owner here, guess I won't be lubing them and just wait for switch films and springs.

MX2A's stems are polished and you can get away with it bone dry. I found my other lubed batch took away a bit of the scratchiness. As for the Hyperglides, I haven't tried them unlubed but I guess it's worth the try.

Bro, how do you usually lube your MX2A? only on stem right? which part of the stems that you apply the lube to? I don't want to take away too much of the scratchiness.

No lube on housing. Very light coat on stem and that's it. Recently enjoying unlubed MX2As good to go dry as they're polished stock

Yes, bag lubed. But I also have another batch of unlubed springs. I don't hear any weird noise

This is how I have my Alexotos Sonnet built currently. Sounds and feel too good

Lattice mount is really comfortable to type on even the stiffest one. Woulda gotten the v2 if i didn’t have 2 v1s
