it sounds strange for the solos hitting the consinent really hard and with chorus when they say slavery when they go up on the v in the word where if you listen the the song it starts strong on the beginning of slavery.sorry I'm a theatre nerd and I preformed this song for class.sorry for being nitpicky

might I also suggest having solos memorize the songs so when performing they can put more emotions into it.it looking kinda awkward for them to keep looking down at their folders it also help with projection.sorry love the song it sounded beautiful

CryptoCosplay I agree. Memorizing it would help them explore the song stylistically as well.

The tempo was all over the place, it irked me the most

I think the biggest difference between this and the musical is that this is a choir and they aren’t as flowing with the song and didn’t capture the song completely. A lot of emotion is a differences as well, though the soloist did give off a strong emotion. Other than that, I really did like listening to this

Daisy The Shiba Inu I’m pretty sure they know, but we don’t know the girl’s name who sings Eliza so it’s easier to say ‘Eliza’

wish the tempo didnt speed up as the song progressed. felt really rushed. it didnt give the same sad slow vibe the original has. also, i think eliza was a little too close to the microphone, as her vocals were extremely loud. it could’ve used more practice, but i still loved the performance

And when they say when my time is up have I done enough will they tell my story, should have held the note to create that dramatic but heart felt moment where the actress or actor can just throw themselves out with that single note.

The real question is how did they sing this without crying midway
Damn that girl was too loud. They did not do this song justice. Terrible
@shots2075 жыл бұрын
They’re a choir.. not a professional broadway chorus/soloist singers. They’re voices are great with a lot of expression. Their vibrato was awesome. I think the performance was phenomenal. If you are not a vocal coach, choir director, or a professional vocalist yourself, I suggest you think before you comment.

Well if u think that way, there are just choirs like this replied said in very offended if your not either a coach like the other replied said and also the one thing saying u should think before typing it :/
