If your looking at those details, then the value you put on it pertaining to maker will not put this particular cue at it's value. The historical value is worth way more. Someone paid for Mark McGwire's 70th home run ball $3 mill. The value is to own a piece of historical item that no one else can say they have. Everyone's worth opinions is what they value the item at themselves. It's like owning a Babe Ruth's bat that he hit the most homeruns with. Someone paid 3.5 million for the Mariano Rivera jersey he wore during his last game. I think that's a wee bit high for that but the new owner didn't bat an eye to pay that amount. Sorry for the rambling but to answer your question, no, I do not know the answers to your questions but will find out. 👍✌👊

Saw Efren (vs. Earl) on his very last tournament in Germany (or even europe - can‘t really tell). That was an honour for me. Think no words can describe him and his pool game. Even Earl lost his words as he wanted to describe Efren. He then just stated: „he is the best Pool Player!“ Earl really showed a respectful, friendly and honest side of him. That was an awesome day for me! Btw: beautiful cues!

for the cue, it is "made in china" but they sell it in Japan under Cosmo. without Efren's name attached to it probably worth $100-200. but since it was used by the living legend Efren and won several tournaments and a lot of money game it should be worth 5 digits, dollars. when the legend is gone it will be priceless.

I remember many years back seeing Efren walk into a pool room in NC. He talked to a guy and got a game. Efren went over and grabbed a cue off the wall. Never even looked at the tip or to see if ti was straight or anything. Then he ran like 8 racks on the guy. At that point I remember thinking maybe the cue doesn't matter that much after all...

The cue matters to people who play now and then. To Efren Reyes it still matters but not that much! I can tell you one thing. If you practice, practice and practice with a decent cue you will be a good player. However, there is no one like Reyes who has done the things he has done. When Reyes decided to come to the USA he needed to have money to enter the tournaments. He actually hustled like you saw him do in NC. After he became famous here he didn't need to hustle anymore. So a cue matters less to a great player than players like me who play once a month or less.

Efren was known to play with a lot of different cues and had many cue makers give him cues which he played with for awhile to get them exposure. If you ever paid attention to Efren play you would know that cue is way to clean for him to have played with it for any length of time. Looks like he got another hustle on someone. On another interesting side note I beat Vivian out of $100 once.

It’s complex issue. Some cues currently made can be tens of thousands of dollars. McDermott makes a cue over 100,000. Considering that I think his cue should b around there

It was made by Mezz cue. I got it with the extra shaft (I think he brought extra shaft with it in case something happens to the shaft, say the tip comes off). It’s a bit longer than the standard cues and a bit lighter. I’m not planning to sell it. I will frame the cue and hang it on my wall.

@@pmayh3m I do not have a digital caliper and weighing scale, but I have an EC9 Butt and Sigma shaft. They are almost the same weight with Efren's cue. One thing I noticed is that the length of his cue is longer by 2 to 2.5 inches than my EC9+sigma.
