That’s a statement in the wrong move order. Ruining your pawn structure and causing a pass pawn. The indian govt actually sponsors many of their talented sportsmen by giving them ceremonial jobs in public sector enterprises where they are paid a decent amount for living expenses. The guy is 18 and with the rising popularity of chess many eSports teams are now signing chess players. There is no indication of him coming from a financially weak family at all. No doubt 128k would probably still be life changing but he is right now the biggest talent in chess.
