I can relate because i hate feeling cold, as you would often do in the situations you described as undesirable

Maybe the feel of the water hitting your skin or the sound of the water hitting your skin and a hard surface ate too overwhelming. Scooba diving, the bubbles would have closed to the same effect. Slippery surfaces might have something to do with it as well.

It’s the feeling of calm. The dislikes increase your anxiety. A shower makes you feel rushed. A bath is calm, you’re in control. You like being on boats but not in the water cause being in the water scares you. Your mind fills with images of what’s in the ocean that can hurt you. Being on the boat you feel safe and calm. You like hearing the rain but not being in the rain. Inside you are safe and calm. Being in the rain you feel trapped, out of control, rushed to get somewhere dry thus safe. Once safe you are calm.

I totally relate. It's the feeling of getting splashed, or feeling the turbulence in the water from the jets or current. All of that stuff feels disruptive to my peace.
