Imagine if the Bengals had Lattimore in that secondary alongside Vonn Bell and Jessie Bates. Not suggesting that the Bengals would have won against the Rams, but Lattimore's presence would have made things a lot harder for Cooper Kupp and especially OBJ, given Lattimore's reputation. Plus, with Lattimore taking up a roster spot, there would be no place for Eli Apple or the drama he brings to the team.
