@@Dal576 - I never said Floyd had it easy. And the cop is getting prison time who treated him horribly. Justice was served. So why can't that be enough? The focus should have been on the treatment, and the repercussions of that treatment. But instead, it's all about "Poor Saint George". I've even seen news reports that show little kids wearing George Floyd tee shirts and people painting murals on buildings. The guy was a career criminal drug addict who pointed a pistol at a pregnant woman's stomach during a home robbery. He was NOT a model citizen. And you lied/exaggerated when you said "the hardship every black American has to go through". That isn't true and you know it. I think George Floyd was a good man who went down the wrong path. He tried to get clean and get his life back together when he moved to Minneapolis, but it seems that he relapsed into drugs and crime after the death of his mother. That does not excuse the way the officers handled him though, especially Derek Chauvin. George Floyd should not have died that day, and to say what happened to him is tragic would be a HUGE understatement.

Criminal past or no, Regardless this man did not have to die that day, but for the choice Chauvin made to be arrest c.o.p. criminal on patrol (can’t say police officer as that gives others who are, who do their jobs right a bad name) but he decided to be judge, jury and executioner. Chauvin had no reasonable option to do what he did. He made a choice to murder a man, it was actually a choice he made, not while protecting himself or his partner or another individual. He made a bad choice to decide big ole George will die today, even as testified by emergency medical worker, he would not rise his knee from the neck. Now consequences he must suffer. How is this so hard for many to comprehend, how do they have the audacity to determine he was not fit to live and was ready to be cast aside and die because his life was not perfect??? Candace, and other scribes and saducees filled with so called righteous indignation, it is not. It is denial, denying to see what happened before their very eyes. What happened here is greater than just George Floyd, it is about callous of heart, pride and an example of two wrong do not make a right and those who hold authority need to be level headed and able to make decisions aright. The law has a higher calling and should not behave as bad as the law breaker.

bruh, supporting the indictment of the officers that murdered George Floyd is equal to supporting the indictment of the officers that murdered Tony Timpa. Put race aside and realize what the people want is accountability for police departments and a total restructure of American law enforcement. Like in the case you mentioned, the vast majority of American cops are NOT prepared to handle a mental health crisis and are way too quick to jump to pulling out their glocks. When we say defund the police we mean they have too many responsibilities and the taxpayer money needs to be redistributed to support mental health services, etc. The 'conscious neck restraint' aka the knee-on-neck thing is going to be banned if all goes well so you should take comfort in knowing that Tony Timpa didn't die in vain. When we support George Floyd we are supporting all people who have been abused by police and have had their rights infringed. Systemic racism in America is a real thing, my guy, so just because your case isn't televised doesn't mean it isn't being noticed. I don't know what you're getting at in the second sentence because this is so much more important than any 'payback', this is for a better future.

In 2009, George Floyd was arrested for a 1st-degree felony charge, as per police criminal records/history/past, of assault and armed robbery he took part in 2007 and spent five years in prison for breaking into a lady’s house with the intent to rob her. George agreed that he wore a blue uniform to look like a government employee to gain the lady’s trust, and eventually pave his way into the house. The lady soon realized that the person was impersonating to be a government worker, she tried to shut the door but Floyd brute-forced his way into the house. Consequently, a Ford truck pulled up to the house’s main entrance, five people exited the truck and went straight inside the lady’s house. the court report mentions that the victim identified George as the criminal, tallest of all the robbers, who pressed a pistol to her stomach and forced his way into the house. George Floyd’s height was 6 foot 6 inches. Not finding any cash, Floyd and other men took jewelry and the lady’s cellphone and fled the scene using the truck. A neighbor had witnessed the robbery attempt, wrote down the license plate number, and reported the incident to 911 instantly. The police followed the lead and successfully tracked down the car. Floyd was found behind the wheels. Later, his identity was cross-verified with the women who reported that a tall suspect had placed a gun to her abdomen and invaded her home forcefully. STOP TRYING TO MAKE HIM OUT TO BE KIND AND A WONDERFUL MAN. HE WAS A MONSTER
