In 1931, Mr. Armstrong founded what became the Worldwide Church of God. The first World Tomorrow radio broadcast aired in 1934, and expanded to over 400 television and radio stations worldwide.
The Plain Truth was first published in 1934. Circulation grew to over 8 million-more than Time magazine and Newsweek combined.

Mr. Armstrong traveled the world, fulfilling, Christ’s prophecy in Matthew 24 to “preach the gospel of the kingdom.” He met more than 500 world leaders, many of whom knew him as an unofficial ambassador for world peace.
Mr. Armstrong had a gift for understanding and explaining the Bible. He wrote hundreds of books and articles. His greatest literary work, Mystery of the Ages, contains the answers to life’s most fundamental questions.
