They did. What KG meant was LeBron left the Cavs when he noticed he was going to have to play the Celtics for years to come. He ranned to Miami for an easy way out and still lost 2 out of 4 times. He (Lebron) said not 1,2,3,4,5,6 championships, and left the team when the going got tough. Ran back to Cleveland because Kyrie was there and still lost 3 out of 4. I'm not a LeBron fan, but if he would have been patient, I believe dude would have at least 5 or 6 rings hands down.

@@ianslee4765 fair point, but I feel like that style of play is only acceptable or useful for the small group of elite highly talented players. They can effectively attack at all angles, because they work at their craft that way. But think about it, Steph and the crew got 70 wins with a majority of their success coming from their perimeter ball. Now, Steph is arguably the greatest three point shooter, so it makes sense they would use him that way. But the entire league looked at that and said "we need to do that", and had EVERYONE shooting the shot. The traditional post up center turned into something we've never seen at this scale. Offences started to implement more plays for open 3's. It's definitely debatable and I could definitely see both sides

Steph curry just evolved what miller and nash did(though not as complete of a player as either, this is talking strictly shooting). Lebron fully changed the game with his ability to do it all. Lebron changed the NBA. Curry influences the next gen and we wont see that impact for at least another five years, so in the 10's lebron is more impactful.

He has better stats, more Finals appearances, three time NBA Finals MVP, dominated game 7 against the Spurs in his second Finals win, had a triple double in game 7 of his last Finals win with a key block and hit the game sealing free throw at the end, a game in which Curry missed a key shot to tie. He beat Durant in the Finals his first time, Durant couldn't even get back to the Finals until he teamed up with three other All-Stars. Rings, Finals appearances, stats, clutch performances in playoff games and Finals, it's Lebron and then everyone else. As for being "bailed out" that's laughable. I guess Horry bailed out the Lakers and Spurs so some of Duncan's/Shaq/Kobe's championships don't count. Paxson "bailed out" Jordan a few times so I guess we'll take away some of his championships. Ron Artest hit the game sealing 3 in game 7 against the Celtics as a Laker, a game in which Kobe was 6-24, so I guess we'll take that championship away from Kobe. Curry's Finals stats have been underwhelming in several of his Finals so I guess we'll take a few of his away and Durant couldn't win one until he joined an already championship team so I guess we'll take his two away. Yeah, when you have to be intellectually consistent your argument falls apart.
