Who was The Viridescent Venerer? | Genshin Impact Deep Lore Character Origins

This Genshin Impact Lore video will be the first in hopefully a long series of videos in the "Tales from the Cataclysm" series. It tells the tale of the Viridescent Venerer, also known as the Queen of hunters and how she got involved in the events of the Cataclysm.
Her story has been compelling to me for quite some time, and I'm so pleased to finally have the opportunity to bring it all to you.

@@Apricot_418 While I'm not going to dispute his entire theory, Dainslief is NOT the bloodstained knight. The Bloodstained knight used to be a Knight of Favonius trained by Rotsam 500 years ago. He fought in the name of justice through slaughter and then learned about the cataclysm that happened. He then pledged himself to the abyss

There an interesting parallel between Tartaglia/Ajax and Viridescent. Ajax as a boy basically wanted to a shonen protagonist when he grew up and save the world. But his fall to the abyss and subsequently training there to survive warped his pure intentions when he returned to the lands of Teyvat. Instead of wanting to be a hero of the world, he now hunts down stronger foes as a way to simply challenge himself and grow as a fighter in a sense to feel alive again. Given his lifeless cold eyes compared to all other characters in the game he has been greatly changed by the Abyss. He didn't completely lose his humanity though! It wasn't translated correctly in the English dialogue but he doesn't want to involve the weak and innocent in bloodshed during the archon quest by used Osial's summoning as a last resort to fully the 'ORDER' The Tsaritsa gave to him. I use the Viridescent Hunt with Tartaglia as his second-best in slot bow.... so GEEEEEEZZZZZZ

Hey dude, look into the lore behind the mist veiled primo elixir. It has some very interesting lines surrounding its lore like "An elixir of the highest quality. It embodies a state of intertwining order and chaos, and is said to mirror how the world was when it was first created. Of course, a certain someone knows that this was not the case.". So this video motivated me to read through most of the artifact descriptions in game and the one that stands out most, for me, is Tenacity of the Millieth. Not sure I spelled that right but regardless the description tells of a rather intriguing battle in what appears to be a victory of the Abyss against Rex Lapis in the area we call The Chasm. I think perhaps the reason the area is still locked to us to this day could be because the Abyss may have attained a rather strong foothold there. With all that has occurred in Liyue it surprises me that the Geo Archon would still step down after losing a battle and control of a very profitable mining area to the Abyss Order. Further speculation causes me to question the following: If the abyss Order stopped their advance after the nameless yaksha fell is it because their goal was to capture and possibly corrupt said Yaksha? What knowledge could they obtain from a fallen adeptus I wonder? What would an adeptus corrupted by the abyss become? And if the Chasm fell under control of the Abyss Order before their corruption of Dvalin and before more recent events where they tried to corrupt Boreas and searched for the 1st Ruin Guards eye in hopes of building an artificial God then that suggests this nameless Yaksha could have been their prisoner all this time suffering under their corruption. Something to consider. One final thought, what if Lumine met with Aether not to console him but instead to send her one obstacle to her plans with the abyss far away as possible so we no longer interfere? And here we are all too happy to set sail for Inazuma and possibly get trapped within a closed nation.

The fact that I have Viridescent Hunt on Childe-- Welp Also do you think its possible that Viridescent ascended to Celestia??? I think that since she was such a legend herself, Celestia may have taken to her especially after she turned to revenge. Celestia may have said since she didnt have a place to return to, they offered her a spot in the heavens for her deeds. Although I'm unsure if she had a vision, assuming she did tho itd have to be anemo.

(SPOILER WARNING) Can you make a video about the Visions in Genshin? I'm even more curious about the related topics regarding how they are given. For example: Does Venti hand out all the visions in his kingdom or only Anemo visions to whom he deems worthy all over the world? Or with the dead vision recently introduced in the latest quest once having been electro can it then become geo when reignited by someone worthy or will it only be electro? Also this is the first blank vision introduced in the game and it being powerless made me question why would Baal be gathering them on a statue if they no longer had any power? I would add Ningguang is the only character so far who acquired a dead vision that reignited becoming her Geo vision that I know of. It's got me pondering if the allogenes aka vision wielders are in some way chess pieces of the archons themselves. In Mondstadt only Jean and Sucrose have anemo visions, so would that mean the other archons are all trying to manipulate Venti's kingdom with their respective visions? I hope you'll consider creating a video to give such ideas the level of depth you give all your videos.

I’ve got a lot of ideas in this topic and it’s a high probability that I’ll cover my findings on visions in the near future. Also on the list of repurposed visions don’t forget Mona! Her vision was of unknown element (possibly still hydro?) when she was given it by her master but she was not able to actively make use of it until it silently imbued itself within the existing frame allowing Mona to use the vision as it was assigned to her only as of that time.
