I have been reading Tolkiens other books, like the Silmarillion, and it amazes me that the theme of the Lord of the rings series is very much what is being exposed in Heisers work and this video. This interests me as it shows Tolkien had a grip on this history and teachings of the ancient near east, and he used his books to open the imagination enough to grasp this ancient biblical truth. This information which was also known to the people who hid the dead sea scrolls, the second temple period, is the "bad news" that the bible is the Good News, that stems from the causality recorded in this bad news. It makes sense of the whole context of the bible from Gen to Rev.

@@rsum123able He represented an establishment view point. He retold mythological tales from the Bible as a true source. Actually it is the Bible that is Mythology. All the O.T. is old wives folk tales. The N.T. was written hundreds of years after it happened. He offered no insight to the truth. He just repeated what he learned in seminary. He was a sick man. He only had half the blood in his body that most people have. Surely this affected his thinking ! Also he mistranslated Elohim. Elohim was not referring to god, but the Armies of the sky, the powerful ones were not gods.

Jesus has OWNERSHIP to answering the gods/elohim, NOT man!! Heiser was a blind guide. He was correct in God/Elohim capital "G" and gods/elohim lower case "g" but his application was all wrong. His book the unseen realm falls apart in the first few paragraphs. From Heiser's Chapter 1 Unseen Realm "One such moment in my own life-the catalyst behind this book-came on a Sunday morning in church while I was in graduate school. I was chatting with a friend who, like me, was working on a PhD in Hebrew studies, killing a few minutes before the service started. I don’t recall much of the conversation, though I’m sure it was something about Old Testament theology. But I’ll never forget how it ended. My friend handed me his Hebrew Bible, open to Psalm 82 He said simply, “Here, read that … look at it closely.” The first verse hit me like a bolt of lightning: Psalm 82:1 God stands in the divine assembly; he administers judgment in the midst of the gods I’ve indicated the Hebrew wording that caught my eye and put my heart in my throat. The word elohim occurs twice in this short verse. Other than the covenant name, Yahweh, it’s the most common word in the Old Testament for God. And the first use of the word in this verse worked fine. But since I knew my Hebrew grammar, I saw immediately that the second instance needed to be translated as plural. There it was, plain as day: The God of the Old Testament was part of an assembly-a pantheon-of other gods." >>>>Okay this is from Heiser’s book the “Unseen Realm” Chapter 1 in his opening of this book. Let’s look at the word “pantheon”, this one word changes everything about Heiser’s theory. Heiser’s view of pantheon of other gods is spiritual/non-human/angelic, what most people do not know is that the word pantheon has a dual meaning, so it is not just pantheon spiritual gods. Let’s look at dictionary definiton for the word “pantheon” 1) a group of particularly respected, famous, or important people: somewhat formal : a group of people who are famous or important "the pantheon of the all-time greats" example: a building in which the illustrious dead of a nation are buried or honoured. 2) all the gods of a people or religion collectively: the gods of a particular country or group of people "the deities of the Hindu pantheon" (especially in ancient Greece and Rome) a temple dedicated to all the gods. So with the definition can apply to both 1) people and 2)pagan gods. What Heiser did when it came to Psalm 82, he applied the pagan god (elohim) meaning to the pantheon, which is the second use of the word pantheon, this is where he error's from the first chapter in his book the unseen realm. What Heiser should have done is apply the “FIRST” meaning of the word pantheon to the gods/elohim in Psalm 82, which would be people. When a person applies the “FIRST” meaning Israel now fits in Psalm 82 as the gods/elohim. Israel is Jacob’s decendents made up of 12 tribes. Psalm 82 is totally about Israel (Jacob’s decendents). Israel is the “Chosen People” of God in that time period, Israel is important because Jesus Christ, the Messiah would come through that people group, Jesus came from the tribe of Judah, Judah is how we get the term “Jew” from. So the pantheon of gods/elohim would be Israel all of Israel, which would consist of people that are Judges, Rulers, Kings, Elders and even the common Israelite person.>>"The Chosen People" So when a person Pairs up Psalm 82 and John 10 Israel, Jacob's decendents/12 tribes makes more sense. Psalm 82:6 I said, “You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you;>>>>>>Israel

Heiser's book the Unseen Realm is super heretical! Heiser believed in and pushed this "World view" in his teaching, his book the Unseen Realm is just that, in actuality goes against what Paul says in Romans " Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Heiser totally comformed people to the "World". Heiser turned the Bible into a Science Fiction Fantasy and has mislead so many with his Stupid teaching, but like the saying goes, "You can't fix Stupid!"

There was only one thing I could point out that Heiser missed. He kept trying to prove wherever in hebrew scripture was mentioned "the angel of the LORD" that it was an appearance of a pre existant Jesus. In Heisers mind a "second YHWH" enbodiment. In that he failed to remember his own well stressed teaching. That "Angel is a job description, NOT A SET OF ATTRIBUTES" i.e. if "angel" is greek for messenger, that being their job, then they were messengers FOR YHWH, not God personally, or the future son of God. Logic my dear Heiser.

We are Gods when Jesus quoted being the son of God he quoted psalms 82:6 only difference is those Gods die and Jesus don’t and we don’t either through him John 10:33-36 The Jews answered him, “It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God.” 34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I said, you are gods’? 35 If he called them gods to whom the word of God came-and Scripture cannot be broken- 36 do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? Psalms 82:6 I have said, Ye are Gods; and all of you are children of the most High. 1 Corinthians 11:7 A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. 2 Corinthians 6:16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my peoples This is how and why the expression is given “When you see me you see the father” Now apply this to the nephilims as well

It’s called Authority Moses was called Elohim, Aron was his prophet, but that doesn’t make him God the creator, God gave Moses authority and a title to be called God over Egypt, As it is written Exodus 7:1 Then the LORD said to Moses, “See, I have made you God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet. Daniel 2:21 “It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men And knowledge to men of understanding. Same concept jesus is called Elohim, but that doesn’t make him God the creator, God gave him authority and a title to be called God over nations, as it is written Isaiah 11:1-11 Then a shoot will spring up from the stump of Jesse, and a Branch from his roots will bear fruit. 2. The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him-the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and strength, the Spirit of knowledge and fear of the LORD. 3 And He will delight in the fear of the LORD.He will not judge by what His eyes see,and He will not decide by what His ears hear, 4 but with righteousness He will judge the poor, and with equity He will decide for the lowly of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth and slay the wicked with the breath of His lips. 5 Righteousness will be the belt around His hips, and faithfulness the sash around His waist. Isaiah 11:10-11 On that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples. The nations will seek Him, and His place of rest will be glorious. 11 On that day the Lord will extend His hand a second time to recover the remnant of His people from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the islandse of the sea. It’s an expansion instead of God giving one “ Moses” authority over Egypt its giving one “Jesus”authority over all nations And you know what’s more amazing you don’t have to pre exist or be incarnated to be given any of these things titles or authority. This is why and how the expressions is given “if you see me you see the father” This actually proves the nephilims themselves where just humans with divine authority

This is congruent with Dr. Michael Heiser’s excellent research. Almighty Creator God, Yahweh, the invisible Spirit, and His ONLY visible form ( begotten Son, Jesus) is far above all other created beings; both in spiritual realm, called elohym/lesser gods, and physical, earthy world of mortal men. Yahweh stands alone. He is holy, immutable & incorruptible. Not so with His creation. Some elohym became corrupted, as did all of humanity. But Yahweh desires a family. An intimate group of elohym (created spirit beings)and redeemed mortals who will choose Him, love Him and reign with Him in Paradise restored. We see His infinite love on display at the cross, and His power to restore in the resurrection. Come to Jesus today. He is God, the only way to eternal life with your creator.

The Seba Hashamayim, the armies of the sky, are all gods. The father of these gods is El Elyon. Yahweh is a spirit of the deserted places. One of El Elyon`s sons, Yahweh is not distinguished from Baal, or Hadad, but is just another powerful one. There is also the possibility this is the pantheon of the gods of hell. Cthonic deities ! There is a reason they are vague with you !

Being an atheist also allows the person to look at the Bible in an unbiased way, allowing them to see the truth instead of trying to prove the existence/non-existence of a said deity or group of deities.
