Thanks Sara, I'll do my best! I'm really trying to get back to being active on KZbin again. I've been meaning to comment on your ipad video, I'm really curious about how your experience has been.

I really like your view on this topic. The whole "CTRL+Z" thing is - while I'm not even that advanced yet at all - already worrying me about myself. I rely on it alot as well, and while I do not plan to take up traditional art anytime soon, it feels like it takes up a lot of time and even some quality from my drawings - might just be a gut feeling, though. Also, the part starting at 8:25 where you're adding all the colors and especially the part at 8:35 where you blend in the white for the sky was blowing me away. The color choices here were amazing, at least from my perspective. Really well done! Your voice is also really nice and soothing to listen to, and I'm really glad you picked this all up and do this kind of more often. :) (Though it takes me forever to get around to watch them orz). Keep up the great work!

ShaezoNai aww! Thank you so much. I would love to do more narrated vids! If there is anything I’ve learned from my traditional drawing experience it’s better to just accept the mistakes and move on. Just focus on doing a good job but it’s fine if there are flaws. I just realized that when i do my daily studies I don’t even get out my eraser bc i don’t use it. It’s definitely a good habit i think. It streamlines the process a lot

1st video i have watched, and i must say, it's lovely hearing your voice and i can understand your feelings towards traditional when you think of it as "rough draft ->clean up on computer->do digital art, as a tradition artist myself, just replace Ctrl-Z with a Rubber/Eraser, and you effectively have the same thing, just a little more effort is all also i agree with the taking your time thing, i feel like when you rush things your going to issue details or not plan out a design as well, it can really hurt the image if the artist rushes Digital does have the advantage of colour experimenting, issue with traditional colours is that some colours flat out lie to you, i have a light blue colouring pen that comes out as rusty copper green, but on a computer the colours you get are exactly what you choose this was an interesting video, comparing the 2 forms of art really shows both sides pros and cons

Thanks for watching and thanks for sharing your feedback! Yeah, that thing about color is something worth mentioning. Especially with paint the color doesn't always look like what you expect... I was very surprised when payne's gray looked more like dark blue than gray.

@@PropheticAnomaly your welcome and your welcome again (0w0 ) the colour thing is the story of my life, i have had so many colours not be what they were advertised to be soemtimes . dark blue = black . light blue = dark blue . green = yellow . cream/white skin = a dirty brown that looks like it has chunks in it (not sure how or why)
