I like the look of the knife and the length of the blade with the notches to remove pots and stuff from the fire keeps the hands farther away from the fire and thanks for the chance to win and again awesome video!

Ummm. Yeah. That's what I said in the video. This was out YEARS before the Buck Hoodlum. Both based on the same design. His logo is right there on the blade.

Anything TOPS is a grail knife for me and as a single father their out of the budget most of the time. I want go out and buy the budget closest comparison so I'll wait and buy a used TOPS instead. This is not pity talk just reality in my case.

Outdoor Life RC They keep asking me to find a new "mommy". They even loudly comment at the grocery in the aisles: "Daddy look! How about SHE be our new mommy?". Sometimes I answer "Now THAT would be nice!". It hasn't worked yet. Lol.

Awesome looking knife, I like the notches on the spine adding more utility to the knife. I love the downward sweep of the blade, looks very ergonomic.

Thanks Chris for your continued generosity! Think this is a wonderful knife and I will grow to be very attached to it also. Please be careful with it and don't get blood on my Anaconda!!! As an 'old timer' myself, I love the old school style of the sheath! A girl got to have a place for her ferro rod and her lip stick! If your separation anxiety gets too bad, I will send pictures to you of me and my knife occasionally! Thanks for the great opportunity!

I am getting this knife. I saw Ron Hood at the Blade show video and he referred to a knife that he designed at Tops and mentioned it was still being produced but he was marketing the Hoodlum. SO I went out and bought two Hoodlums but can not see this Tops version is much better as far as construction. Great video. Great also that you hooked up with another sponsor on behalf of your viewers even though I know that would have been an issue with your other sponsors. Glad they cooperated. Keep up the great work.'

I like the notch saw at the front of the knife. Not only could it be used for notching but also for removing cooking pots from fires. Looks like an awesome knife count me in for the giveaway. Thanks Chris

Good to hear ron getting a mention. I was gutted when he died. This knife is testament to his unique way of thinking and understanding of survival and woodlore. Great ergonomic and functional looking tool. Please count me in for the give a way.

I love the arch of the handle in regard to the spine! The knife looks incredibly balanced and the grip looks exceptionally comfortable. An AWSOME CHOPPER, it no doubt would wreak havoc on a truckload of sawmill slabs, too!

Pretty cool! This one from Tops was never on my radar. I always loved the looks of the Buck Hood, but stayed away from it because of the QC issues. This is the perfect replacement!

that is a sweet knife, its a must have. it reminds me a bit of the tops condor alert, they discontinued it before i could get one. this would be a nice replacement for that, great video like always.

great review man! I love the sheath of this one, and the knife as well. This Anaconda is a beauty: I love the blade shape, the handle "tilt" which I found more than comfortable using the first jess-X and I would love to get one, but I think I can't afford it here... This looks like a pretty good knife. The differential heat treat makes a big difference in usefulness and as long as the spine isn’t below a 40 Rockwell it should work well on a fire steel.

I'm in! I'd definitely love owning that knife. Five seconds on a grinding wheel puts a nice, bare 90 degree patch on the back of the blade for ferro rods and bark scraping, although I know not everyone has access to a grinding wheel (get one). ;-) I love the classics, especially by Ron Hood...

Definitely a great looking large blade with function. I agree about the 2D mislead. I've looked at pictures of this before and thought "blade looks too long" after seeing it's proportions in the vid I've changed my mind...
