as obsessed with drifting as i am, i purchased my first parking lot beater 50 50 rc drift car recently. once i learn enough about how to build and change everything, im going to build a nice rwd rc and drive 2 hrs a week to the local tiny scene. im looking forward to medic getting more into drifting so i can get some more poll type knowledge on the chassis and parts. looking forward to more sliding videos, coming from an amateur real life drifter

Shaft driven is so much smoother. tried them both and got really slick sideways action from the exceed. the rs4 was just too stiff. the belt seemed to drag. just a note :-)

Whatever you do go name brand first I had a red cat and while it did well for a while the aftermarket was tiny And it slowly started to have issues I have yet to have those from my sakura d4

What type of tires do they use? I’m sure the tile is a slippery surface for any rc car or truck. They do have amazing control. I always though there was like a small caster wheel under the cars body

Love the drift videos! I know this isn't appropriate for a competition environment but try to get really low shots when you and friends are drifting for ultra epic effect!! Maybe try a GoPro though so your lens doesn't Break if it gets hit by a car! 👍🏼
