Growing up in south Jersey, I was a stone Mason. I've had a whole lot of food off the trucks that came to the construction sites, and I will say one of my favorite sandwhiches ever came from one of those trucks which was a father/ daughter team that I believe we're philipino! Would you also make a trip up to Hoboken, NJ on Thursday or Saturday to check out their Italian roast beef with gravy and fresh mozzarella when you get a chance.

I'm not that much into Filipino fusion food, but that Bistek cheese steak looks well conceptualized. A lot of cuts of meat in the US do not have that much fat content. It really needed the pork fat. Also, bistek is normally marinated with calamansi. It's hard to replicate that taste. It will taste unique.

Bistek cheesesteak! Never thought of that. Bistek is a classic Filipino dish. It's marinated in soy sauce and kalamansi and other spices. The meat is then fried and then the marinate is added back. Would try this at home next time!

JL Jupiter , you should try flavors at Galloway at the Exchange in New Jersey. They have different type of empanadas, like crab , shrimp and crab , and beef and cheese. They also got ciroc apple wings , different types of platters that come with a bunch of different sides , like mac & cheese , greens , crab salad , potato salad , and etc.

There is a huge population of Filipinos in JaxFL bc of it's Navy base. I had a lot of their food but they don't pork adobo & wat u eating look delicious. Luv 2 try dat 🔥 cheese steak 2 🤤.
