Stormbender's got big Dark Angel vibes going on. I like it tbh. Also honestly felt like the production suited it mostly bc of said Dark Angel vibes. I feel like there's a sort of push for metal to adopt that modern metalcore production style regardless of the subgenre and imo there's something to be said for more vintagey mixes.

Totally agree, man! I feel like modern mixes have grown tired with the loudness wars and everything is just loud and up front. No dynamics or interesting tones that blend and compliment each other to the extent that older mixes relied upon. Listen to a lot of Randy Rhoads’ solo tracks and the tone sounds “bad” by today’s standards but the mix rips.

Motokops 2000. I had the chance to offer a test mix to that guy and he finally decided to use to what he had already which is what you just listened to. It’s amazing how small the world actually is. I’m in Spain by the way. And he’s in the states. Still, no bad feelings towards that song. It’s a cool song either way and the guy I talked to is a cool dude as well. It really impressed me to see that song here.

* In defence of the "Why?" lyrics being repetitive, literally every Rage Against The Machine song's verses are just the same ONE sentence repeated over and over and over and over. * "Stuck In My Head" sounds like a surf band trying to play rockabilly, and it absolutely works. I just FireFox bookmarked the song, so I can keep listening to it. I love it. But, as far as a song being in the lead, for my, vote it would be a solid tie between "Stuck In My Head," and "Letter I Never Meant To Write," from the first video. I think with the first song, either speed up the vocals for the hook, or pick words for it that are longer than one syllable. The words "please tell me why" all have one syllable each, and the singer is trying to draw them out with no where to take them. Just my 2 cents. All good entries! Stuff to work with at least!
