I would say you had the second best entry in this video! Trey made some good points, but that doesn't mean that your music isn't already good. I myself found it not only listenable but also genuinely enjoyable. I have a playlist full of songs just like this that I enjoy a lot. What I'm trying to say is: As a songwriter you're already above the amateur level. You are capable of writing songs that people want to put in their playlist, and that's a pretty big achievement!

Nahu Pyrope… That’s some incredible music! Wow. Don’t really care if the motif has been copied from an earlier song. My bet is that 95% of contestants have used their best idea ever and put into the song for this contest. I would be surprised if everyone made songs with ONLY new material. That song was worth me going through this whole contest months after to find. It’s a pretty unique style with EDM and prog metal influences, and that just tickles a lot of my pickles. Good job! 👍

I think the different between riff salad and I’m sorry man is that riff salad is just riff after riff after riff that sound really similar and it doesn’t go anywhere. I’m sorry man has riffs, but then let’s the synth handle the melody and the guitar switches to rhythm. It’s still riff heavy but there’ are breaks and the song actually progresses

I think Gear Gods is right that I could have added more of a top line, but I'm overall happy with this review. Sadly I cannot say there is Martyr influence in there, however you just gave me a band I should check out! Thanks for that! Also thank you for the compliment - I'm glad you enjoyed it! When I was writing it I had hoped to find someone to scream over it but I had no luck and I was worried about the deadline so I just submitted it as is. I know what you mean when you say riff's aren't a song, but it can be used efectively. Listen to My Dying Bride - The Cry of Mankind. The intro melody/riff plays almost throughout the whole 12 minute song.

* "Fall Apart" reminded me of a SepticFlesh song, and I very much enjoy that fact. Great song! Well done! * "I'm Sorry Man" sounds like if Nintendo games had metal soundtracks. Literally. Imagine Nintendo made DOOM. * "Pwitty Bwootal" very much is a mix of djazz and metal. It sounds odd, but it works well. * "Voyager" made me see pretty colours. Not that pretty colours are a bad thing. Let's just say Admiral Kirk would say I did a lot of LDS in the 70s.
