Nobody.... nobody could finish a song like Chris. To me he always sounded more soulful and haunting and sad and beautiful at the same time when the song was ending. Miss him but grateful for what we saw.

Nobody reacts to these tracks, so great to see. He's done some beautiful soulful songs and ballads too - Call me a dog, Safe and Sound, Finally Forever, Steel Rain... wonderful songs, but a bit different to what he's best known for.

Yes! ❤ this performance so much! Chris is my fave. You’re right he was in Soundgarden and Black Hole Sun was a huge hit for them. Check out the official video for Fell on Black Days. For Audioslave check out I am the Highway 😊

I think you would really like "Dead Wishes" and "Hope and Promise Fade". They are off some of his solo albums.

If you like slow and pretty, all of Chris's Higher Truth album will appeal. Also: Audioslave "I am the Highway," "Like a Stone," "Shadow on the Sun." Soundgarden: "Tighter & Tighter," "Fell on Black Days," "Like Suicide." I also adore Soundgarden's "Searching with my Good Eye Closed." And "Slaves and Bulldozers" is face-melting brilliance.

If you liked this then you'll def like Chris' solo stuff, he sang many ballads, cover songs that he made them his own, with Audioslave he had more of a rockish sound, like with Soundgarden.

Chris has so many songs that show off his incredible range. Another one of my favorites from this concert at the Troubadour is “Ticket To Ride” a Beatles cover. It’s worth checking out even if you are not doing a reaction to it.

For some reasons, in my memory Chris Cornell is, in some way, related to Mike Patton. Probably because three decades ago I used to listen to Soundgarden, and Faith No More too, enjoying both despite their huge differences. Great singers, quite astonishing, especially when we hear the extent of their musical palette, as well as their talent, which is clearly not limited to just competing with the sound volume of the guitars, right?🙃 The first track of Soundgarden I ever heard was "Rusty Cage"(from the album Badmotorfinger), fast paced, which was later used in "Radio X" in the video game GTA San Andreas. "Room A Thousand Years Wide" is a great song from this album too, before the album SuperUnknown and its hit "Black Hole Sun". I had almost forgotten all that. I guess nowadays I listen to a bit too much some female singer from Norway, especially live...😀 Whatever, music is wealth. But crazy how the time goes...🙂 In any case, RIP, Chris (the great) Cornell. Thanks for the nice reaction.🙂👍

I’m guessing Mike Patton is from Faith No More? I think I might know a song of theirs, but not sure. Either way, I will add the ones you mentioned to my list. Thanks! 🤗
