Here is a video request from the Patreon request! Chris Cornell is a legend to me. One of the few vocal titans to stand with Robert Plant and Ozzy. I have never heard this song before and to here Chris sing such a bluesy, touching song was pretty amazing.

Notes: Cornell's voice always had a little bit of blues in it. This is Cornell singing the blues. It's from his first solo album in 1999, which went criminally overlooked because it is specifically and emphatically not Soundgarden. It's a shame, I dare say it's a true gem. (And definitely check out the live version at the Troubador from 2010 if you get the chance.)

He sounds exactly as he sounds on his albums. It is an experience I just can’t explain. It reaches so deep in your soul, even the hardest man would have trouble controlling his emotions. God bless his family. I saw him with Audio Slave in 2004 at the canyon club in dallas. He came out and sang like 4 songs acoustically while the band took a break…. I will never forget it.
