I drop my S7 (non edge) quite often. I don't use a screen protector and I've never had a crack on the screen. The trick is, you get a nice durable mask/case for it that reaches above the screen. The only way you could crack the screen is with a direct impact on the screen side, like a table corner or big bumpy object. You get a nice looking phone in a nice looking case (I recommend looking at cases on aliexpress, they're cheap and they're good. Rubber is rubber, cheap or expensive). The only downside to not using a screen protector is small tiny scratches, the kind you only see when the screen under them is white, I've only ever had 1 on each phone. (S7 (non edge), LG G2, and the old Galaxy S2).

Found this channel yesterday. I wish I'd found it earlier. I love the content and how it's presented to me in a fun way. Also I've never destroyed a phone. I've never even damaged a phone.
