The same reaction in 84 when I was 14 years old, hearing it for the first time. Seen Whodini many times in concert back in the 80s. Always looked up to them as much as Run DMC. They never got the props they deserved. Escape and Back In Black are classic Hip Hop albums. Still have the albums and 12-inch singles in the collection today. Keep doing your thing fellas.
