One Love and friends. These are songs we need to live by these days. The music business wanted all these positive rappers out because it promoted unity in our community. So sad

The whole atmosphere of this song is just crazy. The sound is so wavy yet soothing. I like how it has that hip-hop groove but yet it sounded graceful. Really took me back to my childhood in the late 80's. I know we can't get those old days back, but it's nice to hear this again every now and then, to remind myself of what was.

Same with me in 1986 when I was 17 years old. family life for me was horrible. This song and all hip hop songs in 1986 made life in 1986 as a teen bearable. It took me away from my problems.

Damn...one of the greatest songs - hearing the lyrics now is valuable still. A lot of us grew up with music w.a message. We were lucky. This STILL bangs too. The video is wild too - when he ran into his girl while on the street with another girl???!?!?

neehiii Yes this was back when videos actually went with the song........And music made you feel happy & taught you a little something at the same damn time! Love is something that you have to earn, and once you earn it, got to know how to keep it, you got to want it as well as you need it..........So true & So Classic💃🎤 It Still Rocks In May 2017!

Pure rap royalty, Whodini was magical, all of their releases just had all the elements of true creativity and heartfelt sincerity, truth and honest like Friends, Freaks Come Out, Big Mouth. I didn't remember Fletcher passed until I thought about this song on Thanksgiving Eve. Much Love to Grandmaster & Jalil for making such iconic memorable songs hip hop with depth and longevity. MUCHLOVE
