the solution to having problems with your gopro is to simply have it filming through the entire fishing session, you should pick up some more batteries and a big SD card that can store 10 hours of 60fps 1080p footage, also suggest turning off auto stabilising as it lowers image quality and sucks up battery power bigtime
@Cubesolver214 жыл бұрын
He probably has all the footage...but he says that he forgot to turn the go Pro on...that's just an excuse, to try and protect his fishing location....

Not a good idea putting a treble in the head end . A pike will take a fish head first so the hook in the head will be at the furthest point down the throat with possibly a deep hooked fish. Using baits that small one size 4 hook in the back would be sufficient. Or if you want to use 2 hooks put 1 in the tail and one in the back. There will be new beginner anglers watching these videos . Not really giving the best advice.
@royjeffery69654 жыл бұрын
And i have hooked it the other way round for 2 years now And never had a deep hooked fish. Plus it looks more natural if you Twiched the fish moving forward rather than backwards.
@tiptoptuckacka33574 жыл бұрын
You obviously didnt read my comment fully. I said there are new anglers watching these videos ? You may be a well experienced angler who knows when to strike etc. The best way to hook a pike is one hook in the tail one in the flank to avoid deep hooking. Also when your twitching baits its lIke lure fishing your moving the bait away from the pike . It's hard to deep hook a pike that way. But a stagnant or suspended fish sometimes the bites are shy, possibly unnoticed and timing and hook positioning is key. Watch how a pike takes a bait. Nearly always they pick it up on the flank then turn the bait or if the bait is small enough they take the whole thing.

Great vid but camera work definitely needs improvement..miss too many hookups by bad positioning
@Cubesolver214 жыл бұрын
I reckon the reason for bad camera angles is to not disclose his fishing spots...and the excuse that he "forgot" to turn the go pro on is also to avoid exposing landmarks that would identify his location....he's said it in his other videos.
