Thank you for that great video. I did follow it, minus the rotisserie and our Christmas dinner was epic. I was hoping to have some leftovers for a pasta recipe that I tied in the past but my 2 daughters (9 and 11) loved it so much that we had nothing left. The maple orange glaze is delicate. I use a Weber kettle without rotisserie but turning it a couple of time during g the cook seem to have done the trick.

Put potato halves in the tray underneath to cook in the duck fat as it's rendering off , you haven't had potato until you've tried them that way, as we say in North Queensland, put a horn on a jellyfish 😊

You said its a store bought duck but then talk about how ducks fly, arent store bought ducks raised on a farm where they dont fly? Otherwise I love your recipe and I have a Weber and rotisserie and will replicate your recipe and cook on Christmas Eve.
@CookingWithRy5 жыл бұрын
From what I understand (and there was a HUGE duck farm not far from us for many years) most farm raised ducks can still fly, they just don't have to because everything is provided for them. They still use their wings more than chickens and turkeys, but not to the extent that a wild duck would.
