I used to make 100's of hand dipped chocolates, filled with flavored fondant. I miss them at Christmas. I'm going to try this as a replacement for the fondant and add drops of flavoring such as lemon, walnut, orange, strawberry etc. or perhaps a bit of dehydrated real fruit. I'm excited and can't wait to try them. Many thanks. You just made a very old lady happy.

WOW! Love this recipe as a nice Easter treat. Added in a mix of 3 TBSP of PB2 (no salt or sugar) peanut butter powder w/ water (made it on the thick side) and added to the recipe. Froze the eggs and then melted some Trader Joe’s organic completely cacao chips. My niece helped brush the melted chocolate onto the egg and some were dipped in the melted chocolate. Just like a Reese’s peanut butter egg. DELISH! 😋😋😋😋😋

Had fun making these "Reese's Eggs". Made these using a silicone egg tray. Froze the dough for a few hours. Melted the chocolate to decorate. I found the chocolate hardened quickly. I am thinking because the dough was very cold. Made a nice little Easter treat!! 😋😋😋

I just got my package of the exact same chocolate today in the mail. I tried one of the chips and it's not too bitter. Not nearly as bitter as other "dark" chocolate bars I have had. Still a little bitter, as expected from unsweetened cacao. It is spendy, but like Brittany said, it will last a long time.

I guess peanuts are technically legumes, not nuts, so maybe that's why the substitution works better than expected on a flavour/texture level, though I don't know... Just speculating.
