I made these patties. Then, I crumbled some up and put into breakfast burritos - potatoes, peppers, onions, etc. Whole wheat tortilla. I froze the burritos for a quick meal. They are delicious. Thank you so much for this great recipe.

You always have great simple recipes. You should consider creating a recipe book - even as a digital. Several vegan KZbinr's have them. Your recipes gear more to every day food items many people can relate with on a daily basis. Thanks!

I made your sausage recipe today. I had an urge to eat some pizza which I haven't had in a long time. I took small pieces of the sausage and put it on the sauce, then I added nooch on top. Your sausage was delicious and really made my "pizza" taste so good. Pizza is one thing I really miss.

Made these and they are good. Thank you! For grins and because my husband needs to gain weight I figured the calories if anyone wonders... Total for batch is 669 and I divided into 12 patties for about 56 calories each. I did not include seasonings in the calculation so I rounded up to 56.

This looks really yummy! I have made a few plant based sausage patties but they weren’t all hits. I learned a little trick for patties and burgers in that I use just a little bit of aquafaba if I have it and it sure holds them together. Thanks for the tip about the Amazon sausage seasoning, it is easier especially since spices have become so expensive lately in the market. Love your sire.

Omg I am so excited to find your page and this recipe! I am an American who has lived in Scotland for more than 20 years now. As a meat eater I loved my breakfast sausage, but sausage in the UK tastes nothing like our American sausages. Then I went vegan a few years ago and thought I would never get that wonderful breakfast sausagie deliciousness again. Today I have been craving them so thought I would search for a recipe that might be suitable and kicking myself for not looking sooner. I cannot wait to try these and think I am going to make something tonight with these. Breakfast for dinner has always been a yummy thing. Maybe some tofu scramble, sausage patties, and home fries. With some roasted tomatoes, pumpkin and chestnuts for extra goodness. 💖

Mmmmm! What a great recipe. Sausage for breakfast! I made this recipe and this time used the sausage seasoning recipe provided in the recipe. I like this seasoning better that the sausage seasoning spice I bought. I got nine patties out of this. These freeze up nicely. 😋😋😋

If you simmer these in broth or water, for about 15-20 mins after you 've baked them you'll end up with meat-like texture.

What does white miso taste like? Could I substitute vegemite or Marmite for an umami flavour?
@marshapeckham14544 жыл бұрын
Hey Britanny! I have a question about miso, seems nearly all of Dr Gregers recipes include it, of instead of salt. I found white miso, ingredients are water, soy, and sea salt! Is there a miso that does not contain salt, do you know?

@@107judy are you saying Costco has a salt free sausage seasoning?
@107judy3 жыл бұрын
@@angelhayes5166 Sorry for any confusion. It is only an organic no-salt seasoning by Kirkland, not sausage seasoning. I used the seasoning in Brittany's recipe. It was easy to make.

I understand that fennel is the key to making them taste like "sausage" I have seen seitan recipes making sausges with fennel And non-vegans saying it is just like sausage. BTW my flax eggs when I make them tend to be very stiff They go almost solid - I do 1 tablespoon of flaxmeal To three tablespoons of water - wait and it goes solid Should I put more water in the mixture?

Hi, Could you compare your vegan sausage with animal sausage,....vitamins etc. Thank you
@sharit79704 жыл бұрын
You could put all the ingredient info in Cronometer and compare it to 'regular' sausage. Would be pretty easy to do since the recipe is quite simple.
