I love Your Husband so much right now... what an absolute treasure he is to you (still going to pray he passes his wt in a month, but that he stays Really close to home for you!). So good to see a post today. Its been a hard week. Say a prayer for our family if you are led to. We moved from FL to Missouri 6 months ago. Our family in Florida was hit by the hurricaine. I just went to Sam’s club yesterday and used their Scan n Go app on my phone for the first time and it was awesome. Not sure if you’ve used that before but it was nice seeing my total as I threw stuff in the cart. When I was done shopping I didn’t have to stand in the long lines at the cashier. I’m using this from now on. Super easy app to use too.

Ken just cracks me up! He has the sweet smile knowing he did something good! Although I am not on Keto, we try to keep the sugar down at our house. I bought a Soda Steam a couple years ago and just use either Italian Valcano Lemon juice or True Lemon packets. I have been doing it so long it tastes sweet to me, even with no sweetener. I also buy no-sugar ketchup have used most of of those sugars you bought. They all work well in baking with no weird after taste like the pink and blue packets you find at restaurant these days. I am excited you found sugar free baking chips...I want to try some of those.

We use taco shells instead of bread for our philly cheese steak. We are really trying to cut back on bread. I love to see that a family of 10 hace an abundance of food these times we are living in. Onething I've noticed you do alot of shopping more than once a year. You also but alot of the same things at different stores. Great haul though Shelby.

crystal energy We have separate checking accounts (though they are in both our names). I take care of food, household things, clothing, medical bills, garden items, and pet care. He takes care of home and car maintenance, insurance, utilities, and entertainment. We’ve been doing it this way for 38 of our 40 years together, so I guess it works for us. 👍😀

Absolutely love your grocery hauls! I'm excited you guys are trying low carb diet! I do Paleo, not super low carb but fairly low.... Because I have some food intolerances. Some tips from somebody who's experimented a lot with alternative flours: Follow recipes with coconut flour, because it soaks up liquid. You can't substitute it cup for cup for wheat flour. and tapioca starch or arrowroot starch are great substitutes for cornstarch if you want to thicken things. You have to be really careful with xanthan gum, cuz it forms a gum very quickly, and you only need a very tiny bit. it's better mixed into a gluten-free flour blend to provide stickiness.
