We Indians have been cleaning our houses these past 15 days almost, prepping for our biggest festival of lights, Diwali....we clean every shelf, every cupboard, some of us even get the house painted, whatever we can do, and our motivation is that our homes are decked up and clean and cosy to celebrate the festival❤ ❤

My favorite bathroom cleaner is Dawn power wash spray. I make a homemade refill. It's great for grime in the shower and a great shower door cleaner.

Because I know it has to be something clean, earthy, and even a touch of fruit maybe??? I wonder........ I love your content. Your mundane chores bring me peace and comfort. Dawn dish detergent for cleaning mirrors and windows. Mix 1 tsp Dawn with 2 cups water, in a spray bottle. Works great.

I saw some cooking show years ago making cast iron skillet cornbread. They pre-heated the oven, but ALSO put the empty skillet on a heated burner on the stovetop with some oil just a couple of mins b4 putting in the batter. This made the batter sizzle going in which made a nice crust on the bottom. They immed. transferred to the oven where it cooked the rest of the way.

We cook ours in the crockpot too we call them soup beans here in Kentucky lol soup beans and cornbread with onion. It’s our favorite and some fried bologna.

So nice to have a clean house! I cleaned mine yesterday and made a meatloaf supper. My tree is already up so it was nice to sit by tree in a clean house! Our evenings are really long and dark in northern Alberta so the tree is so nice to have up.

Hannah, have you considered tiling the front of your kitchen peninsula with the same tile that you put in the coffee bar? I think you would find tile much easier to keep clean. Plus it could look really great.

Such a great video. As a mom of 4 I just was wondering if you have ever considered putting Levi in a high chair with his toys or we also had a standing playplace... It is like a standing round dashboard... (we called it the UFO) it is like a high chair but on the ground with all the buttons and levers they can play with so you can concentrate on cleaning with him in the room with you but not able to get into anything. Well done mom! Soon Levi will be older and in his room. Mine are now in their 20s. Now I have all the time in the world to clean.

We are crazy busy getting our home ready to rent to traveling nurses, my husband is retiring on Dec. 1st and we will be leaving the Pacific Northwest for about four months so we decided to rent our tacoma Washington home out instead of leaving it empty. Thank you so much for sharing your motivation with us. Just wanted to say that you shouldn't being using vinegar on natural stones like marble. It can damage them. Instead use water with few drops of dish soap and alcohol.

I’m about to get Christmas decor out. I have quite a lot, but we really enjoy it. I wipe down surfaces before I decorate, but I wait until I’m finished decorating to mop. The floors are usually a mess afterwards and I would rather mop once than twice 😉
