What would be your ideal space to live, large or small? When our kids were small and lived here, I enjoyed the space but now I can't wait to move to somewhere smaller. Not long to wait, woo hoo! Are you decluttering with me today? 👋🏼😁

Our big home is working for us right now but I look forward to downsizing when the time comes. I have so much perfume - I’m slowly giving them away but I got 3 more bottles as gifts for my Birthday this month. I think I can’t run away from perfume 😂 my family will have to bury me underneath the bottles

Objects of different categories leave daily, nothing pressing. Was fun to share your declutter!

I love that I dont have to worry about the roof, lawn, trees, etc. My friend who moved to a granny house says she feels like she's in a hotel room and doesn't like it much. I have kept planners for many many years as our "memories of events". I include memorable events in the planner, on a weekly basis, from details from my diary, where I do my detailed planning = monthly + weekly + daily. The diary can then be recycled/shredded during the January of the following year.

Originally I thought I was too busy for decluttering this week but I got stuck in the basement for 10 minutes waiting on the dryer to finish to swap the laundry. I looked for trash and finished clearing out all sorts of things. Found the leather wipes I was going to buy some Wednesday off my anti procrastination list and found the buffing stone to deep clean our basement toilet. I did the upstairs primary ages ago and stored the extra stone for the basement (Pittsburgh Potty as they are called it’s not nice). So I got 2 full shelves cleared off, moved the towels to the new under washer storage our machines have, deep cleaned the toilet, conditioned the couches upstairs and I did my LOL. All in about 1 hour total 15 minutes at a time!

I love your enthusiasm and your ability to let things go with quick decisions. I am very sentimental about a lot of things that I have, so it’s very hard to let go of them. I need many more WOO HOO moments! Also, about your lighting situation, I wouldn’t want to rely only on lighting that requires electricity. Do you have alternatives for lighting, such as battery operated flashlights, at least ? Perhaps you don’t have electricity, though - maybe gas or solar power? I live in the U.S. in a small apartment, with only electricity as a power source. So I keep flashlights and batteries.
