I was there Hank fan since family tradition seen him for the first time country club Reseda,Ca.met him and Mr.Kilgore backstage universal amphitheater I got a story I'm going to tell about that on Facebook I met them just for a few seconds of my life for so much happened in those few seconds something I'll never forget thanks Hank and like they say you do live out those songs you wrote God bless you Merle you had one hell of a job watching that guy

I saw Hank Jr New Years Eve the same year as this concert,83 in Birmingham Alabama. Was called The Hank Williams Jr Rocking New Years Eve Party...lol..ole Hank got so drunk that he sounded like shit and because of the boos he finally walked off stage...lol..have seen him a couple of times since and the shows were AWESOME

I was 13 Years Old when they had that show. My Dad worked for Owl Service Rock which had a huge Quarry at Little Creek not far from the festival. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office and the California Highway Patrol used the front entrance of the Quarry as there staging and command center.
