You're an awesome tutor. I followed this tutorial about a week ago and followed just about each step. The only problem I encountered was creating the progress bar but I found a walk around for that from another video. So far I've made 3 videos, One of which I posted this morning and it has over 300 views already. This is kinda crazy for me because I am a very small channel, and I'm willing to test this for about three months and see how it goes.

Thanks Sarah. I just created my first quiz 😊 Your directions are very straightforward and super easy to follow. A couple things to note. I did have trouble making my audio less than sixty seconds. I followed your advice and trimmed my questions down to only necessary dialogue and also reworded them to make them shorter. In the end I just ended up speeding them up. It's less natural sounding but it works. In the future I think I will shorten the quiz by a question or two. The other thing is the caption effect where we see only one word at a time uploaded to TikTok no problem but it would not work in KZbin. I ended up removing this from my KZbin videos. It took me a few tries to get a quiz I was happy with. I used a niche topic rather than just a general quiz, hoping that might target an audience. My last try went pretty quickly. Created the entire video in just a few hours. The next one will be even faster.

Please note that some channels are loosing monetization or not even able to get it using these templates. KZbin has considered it "reused content". Some channels its working and others its not. Not really sure how they are deciding. But just an fyi and this is only youtube not tiktok.

What people don't understand is that by the time a KZbinr makes a video about something like this, the 'niche' is saturated. That's how they know it's working. If you want to find a niche that isn't saturated, you need to do your own market research. What it will generally mean is that if you got on it at the beginning you'd get 12 months of success, but if you get on it when a video like this comes out, you get 4-6 months of success (more the earlier you make it compared to the flood of these 'make this one cool video' vids come out). In 4-6 months it won't be viable anymore. These kinds of things are never lifetime-length to begin with, but you could in theory make more than enough to survive until the next niche. Or you can complain that it's saturated and make $0.
@Quizville2 ай бұрын
You have a point, but here’s the thing, every niche is saturated in a sense. You just have to find that their is a piece of pie for everyone in the market . What could you do? Do things differently to stand out. Find trends that no one is doing. That is the key, find keywords no one is doing, there’s always cracks and open spaces in the market area

Thanks Sarah, I love how you share so generously your tips! You convinced me to try it out. One thing I'll add to your amazing content is that it's has been unsuccessful for me to make a 10 questions quiz last around 1min. I picked short questions and let 3 seconds for people to answer to each (which is less than other channels quiz videos) and still fall around 1 minute 27. I would say that 10 questions might be too long for KZbin Shorts and you might be in need to think about another strategy. Hope it helps!
@MichaelR19752 ай бұрын
I found it hard myself you can try identifying filler words to shorten it up some in cap cut. That will shorten it up some although I believe that requires the pro version. You could also speed up the voice over but not to much or it will sound weird. yes, shorter questions I think 3 seconds is a good amount to answer. 3 seconds per 10 questions is 30 seconds but it takes time to speak the questions. Someone did say they are making KZbin shorts longer up to 3 minutes that's on the 15th of this month so should be good.

Capcut is $25 per month and Canva is approximately $13 per month (depending on where in the world you live). You should invest 100ish bucks as this will give you 3 months of pro features, give or take. If you don't make money in 3 months at least you gave it a go, and you only lost $100 bucks. @WholesaleTed2 ай бұрын
Well, I did it by just shaving down my text! So towards the end I stopped saying things like "next question" and just went straight to the next question. It would be [Answer], [Question] - with no fluff. You can also use a technique done by others doing this where they save time by using on-screen images as their questions, instead of text based questions.

So let me start by saying thank you for this channel and all the work you put in!🎉 I tried this and I did everything right until i got to the part of adding the audio into capcut. I guess my generated questions were a little long, so the voiceovers inturn were like 10 secs long on average. So now im like, what to do. Because i know youtube shorts are less than 1 min, but at this point, my quiz is about 2 mins. Thinking to still finish it and post it and then go ahead and start a next one making sure it's within the parameters.

Hi Sarah, A piece that seems to be missing is how the time of the voice clips get synced with the video created in canvas. How were they edited to work together? Any direction you can share would be so helpful Thank you
@WholesaleTed2 ай бұрын
I might misunderstand the question sorry, but I never did sync the voice over to the clips in Canva because that was unnecessary for the video! The clips created in Canva are just stock videos with static text on top of it. I synced it instead to the voice over I added in Capcut, and that is done automatically with Ai technology built into Capcut. I never synced it to the stock footage I grabbed for free with Canva. That is just a nice pretty background.
