Would love a video about what it’s like for the kids to be part of this incredible British history. Also what they think about having an American mom and a British dad, and the difference that comes with how you guys were raised and the family traditions that you guys are sharing with your own family now.

Utterly fascinating. I’m American and lived and taught in France 30 years ago. I feel your enthusiasm as an expat and thank you for your fun educational vlogs on the aristocracy through American eyes. You are so authentically curious and not announce of prétention. It is interesting that as an American living in the UK 🇬🇧, I too knew much more of the history of architecture, battles, and personal backstories than most citizens, which included prominent members of society and the government. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that it is fascinating to us, as outsiders, that we see the patterns more easily than native born citizens. The motivation to study also comes from the fact that we chose another country, chose another way of life, thus curiosity is a prominent ingredient in our enthusiasm.

They live about 100 miles north in Montecito, just outside Santa Barbara. It is very wealthy and Oprah lives a stone's throw away from them, along with other famous celebrities, other moneyed people. No one bothers them, no paps hanging around like in LA.Unless something is super hyped like the Oprah interview, here In So Cal they are just another wealthy celebrity couple. As far as tabloids, hardly anyone here even reads mainstream print newspapers anymore, let alone print tabloids!Social media paparazzi shots online get more attention but there isn't real editorial POV.
