I bought one yesterday. I have all the other sizes and I’ve caught fish on all except the 130. I threw it with low expectations, and landed the biggest bass of my life on it. It was an absolute thrill.

I put feathers on all my whopper plopper rear hooks the same color as the lure for days when they like a stop start or poper like retreav. I bet they love the 60 because I hook them on the 75 like crazy I have a couple I put a smaller hook on the back with long soft down feathers just for big panfish. I only eat brim /bluegill croppy pirch and sometimes farm pond smaller catfish 12" to 18" if they look health on the outside and inside.

My third son John got his first kayak on mothers Day weekend & me , my son John , my coworker , the couple of his buddies we all went kayak fishing last Saturday. Can you believe it my son John caught the biggest fish out of all of us. A 4 pounds bass & i got a 2 1/2 pounder bass & everybody else was around one pound or less. You definitely had a good day on the water. Glad you was able to take a quick break and go fishing man. The video man take it easy.

I think the pig was a sign are you supposed to make some bacon with your boss and fry them up in the bacon grease. Lol I need people to teach me all of this stuff, I just pick out a Luer that I think fish will see you in the water and think might be a fish they want to eat. Lol. There’s so much more involved it would be interesting to learn all that stuff. I fished my whole life but not nearly as much and I really have no clue what I’m doing which is weird because keeping fish in aquariums I’ve done tons of research and studying them know pretty much everything about water chemistry and their nutritional needs and behavior but it’s interesting to see all the different types of equipment and Lewers in the way they’re used

Lol. Bluegill or nuts. I’ve kept them in large fish tanks as well as bass and other huge fish. Lucas will attack fish they could never ever get in their mouth. Most large fish pretty much leave other fish alone but bluegills usually end up getting killed by bigger fish in a tank because they harassed them all the time and the big fish finally get pissed and tired of it. It’s kind of funny that begin with that tiny little mouth would hit that Luer but they’re in sane they’ll hit a fish 20 times their size I’ve had four and 5 pound Oscars that a tiny little 4 inch bluegill will try to attack and fight for no reason. And one tank I had a 26 pound pacu And the bluegill would attack it all the time. But eventually the Oscars just got sick of it and killed them. People don’t normally think of them as that aggressive because they’re small and you think of aggressive predatory fish and you think of a bass or something like that the best really aren’t that mean they feed but otherwise really aren’t that bad as far as outright aggression with those little sunfish are nuts nuts. It’s kind of interesting to keep fish like that in an aquarium when you really come to think of them differently after studying them that closely.
@TKOutdoors
@TKOutdoors 3 жыл бұрын
Never had a tank before, but always wanted one. Everyone acts like they are a lot of work though.
@ShaneZettelmier
@ShaneZettelmier 3 жыл бұрын
@@TKOutdoors They Canby but I can tell you this, the bigger the tank the easier it is to take care of. It’s the little tiny ones. It’s kind of like a pond versus a lake, contamination and waste an ammonia and everything else that changes the water chemistry is going to make a much bigger difference in a tiny body of water. The other trick is patience and understanding the basic biology behind it which you could learn in minutes I’m sure. Most fish are killed by their own owners because they obsessively overfeed and even if you don’t overfeed that’s about five times the food they eat in the wild and when they eat they create waste and that equals ammonia and a good biological balance will process the pneumonia and keep the water safe but if you overfeed you just get too much of it that’s what kills fish almost always. It’s a little expensive but you could set up an outdoor pond there pretty easily for local fish that don’t require tropical temperatures. I could easily walk you through creating a mechanical biological filter with gravel and water flow or a simple waterfall system and the bugs will give them enough food and pretty much take care of it’s self if you don’t overstock it. If you set things up correctly it can be easy if you have little tanks that you have to drain and change water in buckets it can be a ton of work but you can automate what are changes with sprinkler parts and cheap drinking water level carbon filters to remove chloramines from your tapwater, if you’ve got a well you don’t even need that. But a drainage system and automatic water filter system makes it pretty automated and simple. If it’s an outdoor pond rain and a little hose water topping it off is easy, just make sure you don’t put one in the sun it needs some shade if it’s going to be outside. Lol If you’re ever really interested I can walk you through the basics and get you started, it won’t take long at all and you don’t need a ton of expensive filtration systems, those are very cheap and simple DIY projects and the truth is the best filtration is very simple biological natural filtration which can mean moving water over gravel or a $12 sponge filter that will last you for decades and a $10 air pump. If you build the pond to suit your environment it’s basically just making sure the water doesn’t drain to the ground with a pond liner and you can get rocks and sticks and even local aquatic plants for free just got to go out pick them up yourself instead of paying some pet store hundreds of dollars for the same stuff. Lol. If you don’t need to do temperature control it’s very very simple. My neighbor was the fish fry guy and we built a pond in his backyard and we will go fishing and dump everything in it to live there until he was ready to clean it and fry it up. Lol. If you can keep them alive you don’t even need a freezer and you can always have fresh fish. Lol
