These 2 moves aren’t even comparable and it’s honestly a stupid conversation. KD had a superstar sidekick next to him in okc when he left, LeBron had nobody even close tho that level for his first stint in cleveland. on top of that the heat were not a great team when he joined. yes wade was great and they got bosh as well but the team was bad and then built vs the warriors who literally just made the finals and won the year before. This is a dumb conversation that nba fans are still obsessed with.

What is crazy about LeBron is that it almost seems like LeBron had to become a villain for leaving so that cavs could draft Kyrie, and trade for Kevin Love. If LeBron didn't leave, cavs might still be waiting for a chip because he'd be too good for the cavs to get a high lottery pick.

I don't know man, all of the all-time greats had players wanting to come play with them. The all-time grace never had to leave their team to go play with somebody else, they wanted to play with them so they would come to their team. LeBron never had that, until after he joined Miami. I think that's the one biggest glaring difference. That doesn't have anything to do with management and the president of basketball operations, because it's not like people were trying to join LeBron and free agency and management said no
@stanleybalan5512 күн бұрын
@@Jeff-te2ccbruh you sound dumb as hell do your research! nobody wanted to go to Cleveland cause nobody wanted to live there! and on top of that Cleveland was a small market the only reason it was big in some peoples eyes was cause LeBron! and did you see those cavs rosters? nobody wanted to be with those teammates! people even said the only reason the team looks good is cause LeBron makes them look good! so what is your point? who tf was going to go to Cleveland in his first 7 years?

Yes can. He just gave up. They were always tops in the league his last 3 years in Cleveland. LeBron just couldn't deliver come playoff time. There are youtube channels out there evaluating his lapses and shortcomings in those playoffs. His move to Miami is the worst because he was supposed to he the "best" player in that era. I lost most respect for LeBron when he left for Miami,though I see now why he left.When he came back and won them a title,he regained my respect because he fulfilled his promise to win them a title.KD had superstars in OKC and joined a 73 win team,and he probably won't come back to OKC.So definitely KD was worse

@@JacksonFitz how Seattle ever lost the sonics, I'll never understand. They have tons of loyalty for Seahawks, mariners and kraken. They have Microsoft money and multiple Microsoft team owners. It wasn’t a trade decision, it was a free-agency move. They were free and fully entitled to do what they wanted at that point in their careers. Although, KD’s is the worst by far. Had Lebron not done a circus show out of him going to Miami with a “big 3” and winning “not one, not two…”. KD wouldn’t have even had the slither (😉) of a thought of going to GSW and the league as a whole wouldn’t be as bad as it is right now with the “player entitlement movement”

You see I don’t mind either of them leaving. It didn’t matter where lebron went because I’m pretty sure it would’ve been a superteam. If he went to the bulls, wade would’ve went and that would’ve been a superteam because they already had Rose (he wouldn’t have been mvp but he would’ve been good) or New York (I don’t remember if they signed Amare before or after lebrons decision) but if he was there they would be a superteam. And as for Durant I don’t blame him for leaving either. It’s just the team he went too. As for fit wise it was perfect for the Durant on the warriors and it was beautiful basketball. It’s just that team because the greatest team of all time lol. If he went to any other team it wouldn’t have been bad it’s just the warriors he went to that made it bad
