The QA team (before they were fired) still didn't do their jobs very well. Ever since Caldera released, it has been the devs idea to just let the playerbase "play-test" the game and let them know what is broken so they can ATTEMPT to fix it by the end of the season.

A good portion of the layoffs were actually from Blizzard. The overwatch team was trimmed, the wow team lost people, the team that was working on the survival ip was cut. CoD was a minor portion.

I have a friend that works closely with the cod dev team. Warzone was bairly playable a week before release. Unfortunatly this is the case for most tech spaces, QA is either non existant or put into the community to report issues.

Its also the fact that not ALL of the content works theres a handful of guns that dont allow attachments that are clearly selectable such as barrels for the M16 and the 30 rounder for the ACR 6.8

The reasons for the constant increase of it breaking is because the fired or let go of the devs necessary for the game to be fixed properly and if they didn’t do that they wouldn’t have as many problems there’s a ton of games out there now that are smaller and has less than 50 devs a lot less than 50 devs and they work well and any issues that should be fixed get hashed out in a couple weeks or months time because less devs means longer working time is required to fix the problems or issues that become huge

Wanna fix audio? Make killstreaks less loud! I get it if someone calls a mortar on my house I shouldn’t be able to hear much else. But for Christ sakes I can hear a friggin mortar hitting prison allllll the way from stronghold. It’s unnecessary. Maybe have the killstreaks have an audio radius? Idk how this stuff works but it seems like that could be an easy fix? Just everything is loud EXCEPT things you need to hear. It's crazy to me that we're how many years into CoD & it only continues to somehow get WORSE as time goes on & technology advances. A brand new game came out to compete with CoD (xDefiant) & you'd think that the developers/Activision would be ON TOP of fixing game-breaking issues with this game. Nope, you're completely wrong. Not to mention, the servers are ABSOLUTE DOGSHIT. We're playing a game of update -> huge bugs -> fixed some of the bugs -> created new bugs -> some bugs still occurring for some users -> repeat. The game is genuinely horrendous, I have no idea why anyone still plays it.

Warzone use to be pure and even playground for ps or Xbox, but now it’s made for pc players. They have unlimited keys to use to do the stupid bunny hop, which somehow nerfs getting shot. Players that have a normal controller on a tv are at so much of a disadvantage at this point in the game. The game use to be fun and you could play your style, now it’s just a constant meta change every four hours of the day. It has over 200 hundred guns and twice as many attachments but they have decided to make the game where it’s just a snipe or no sight meta. What’s the point in having this many options if they only work when cod decides to let them work. We should be at the point to where your style and gun type should be up to the player not the ever changing meta. I did just want verdansk back but it will not be the same verdansk. May look the same but will never play the same. It’s a shame because all you have to do to fix the majority of problems is make it to where you can actually turn off cross play with pc for one, do away with metas, if you want players to buy packs then make better packs and players will buy them, instead of making players buy a pack to unlock the new weapon instead of having to grind away to unlock it just to be nerfed a week later. This shit ain’t rocket science, listen to the whole fan base not just a select part of your player base. Warzone could be the greatest br of all time if you could put as much effort into fixing the game instead of adding 30 modes that suck and stick with what got you here. Normal player out🔨

Games use to be made by passionate companies. Investor groups looked at the successful games and thought, wow what if we could make that a factory that rolls out bangers. I am sure they looked at all the bugs that QA fixed and did not fix vs profit and realized they could have a very buggy game and still buy golden toilets. As a diamond 2 in resurgence ranked, I got into 2 lobbies today with the same 3 hackers. One of them is a top 250 and another is iridescent 1. EDIT: Sosa, Gunny, and I think Marquede or something, if anyone else has run into them. Ergo, they focus on nothing specific so nothing gets fixed.

To be fair, the QA team was there when Caldera launched and that was a bigger shit show than anything post MWII. I continue to believe that the game's engine is to blame for a lot of the bugs... it seems like a nightmare to work with. So many updates unintentionally undo previous fixes and changes. The notification banners getting in the way, airstrikes being deafening, footstep audio being adjusted, the Sun's brightness, etc.

I find it funny that people from the cod community are shittin on XDefiant especially because of the server issue as if COD doesn't constantly have issues. Every seasonal update there's some broken BS happening.

mid season 4 fps problem! mid season season 5 server problem packet burst problem! mid season 1 loadout were buged and everyone was lvl 1 i can name more if u want.this things were raven`s mistakes like right now! don`t say it`s bec of microsoft

Had u packet loss maybe 3 times last night no higher than 3% been a while but servers and teams where the best ive had in a while unless these new iems help that much

Also how bad the servers have been lately. I mean WZ servers were never great but it's been extra terrible lately.
