Man Weatherby just knows how to do it. I have a 257 Weatherby and my dad and brother have the 6.5-300 Weatherby. Got a deer with the 257 and that thing is wicked. I am a huge Browning fan but them MKV are unreal to shoot. Great buck and that 6.5 RPM laid the smack down on him. Check out the 257, it’s a killer medium game cartridge.

@@WHOTEEWHO your channel is one of my favourites. If I lived in the USA I would enjoy hunting with you and filming the hunt. This fall I plan on filming all of my hunts, and as much range time as possible. It looks like you have a very impressive collection of firearms. I am trying to build up my collection again. I had several handguns, several ar-15’s and 26 different rifles at one point. If you haven’t tried a fierce firearms rifle I would highly recommend one, also a sig cross and Springfield waypoint. The only downside is they are all very expensive. I am curious what is your favourite cartridge?
@WHOTEEWHO Жыл бұрын
@Tag out and drag out all very expensive 😂. I mostly do budget friendly stuff. If I had to pick a favorite I'd probably pick 22-250 or 338wm.

@@WHOTEEWHO I am trying to focus on more budget friendly rifles as well. Rifles under $1000.00. Great choice in cartridges. My personal favourite is the 280ai, then the 243, and 308. Trying to get into the various 7mm cartridges. I watched your reviews on the 7mm prc, the mossberg patriot predator and the ruger American go wild. Of those two, which do you prefer in 7mm prc? I think I am going to get one or the other.

She shot her doe at a 111yds. The doe went 53yds and was done. When dressing her out the lungs were mush. I am extremely impressed. Although I have only shot deer with a bow. I talked to a group of who will bring their dogs out to track a wounded deer, for free if you lose a deer. These guys all said the same thing when I asked what caliber was responsible for the most wounded deer… They all said the 6.5 creedmore. I shoot a 270, and always have. I have not had to track a deer more than 50 yards.

Nothing wrong with a 6.5CM. People are either bad shots or using the wrong ammo. 243 has been dropping deer for decades, 6.5CM is just a step above it in energy.
@Nick-sx6jm2 жыл бұрын
@@TommyboyGTP I think its because a lot of guys with little experience shoot the 6.5 creed and its overhyped to make those guys think its a powerful sniper round when really its a 200 yard deer gun. I shot many deer with 243 when I was younger and most dropped in their tracks as long as you have good shot placement and keep it under 200. I stepped up because I had shots past 300 yards and 243 sized cartridges were not enough.
