If they just kept chief on ice after 3, I wouldn't have even minded a new hero. Arbiter's my favorite character. I don't mind a new hero. The games called halo, not master chief. ODST and Reach rock. Halo 5 is frustrating because they had this cool podcast to advertise the game, and it was ALL ABOUT master chief. And when the game came out it has basically shit to do with that podcast.

Reach is mostly about the planet, and Noble Team's fate, but ultimately ends with getting Cortana to Chief, and kick-starting Halo CE. ODST is about the aftermath of a battle that opened Halo 2, and a pretty memorable one at that. Halo 5 might've worked if it was marketed, and made as a "Chief has gone AWOL, and brass won't tell us why" game, even though the Cortana twist would've still been kinda dumb. Then the whole "Hunt the Chief" thing would've made sense.

The thing about Halo 5, is that it’s a really big game storage wise, with over 100GBs. If they add that to MCC without cutting anything, it would nearly double the total space required to hold everything in MCC. That’s on top of all the bug fixes they would inevitably have to spend months to fix.

On a more serious note, I believe one of the devs said in a blog that adding Halo 5 to the collection would run into memory limitations. Keep it mind MCC has to be able to run on the launch model xbox one. EDIT: For people commenting that it halo 5 still runs on an original xbox or that 343 can just make it so you can uninstall halo 5 in the MCC to make it run, Memory isnt the same as storage. The memory code would be too much for a original xbox one to handle. MCC has 11 engines that by a miracle work. Halo 5 engine is too big and too complex to work with the other engines. Simply put, Halo 5 engine is to much for the original xbox one to handle while running 11 other game engines. And no, uninstalling a certain halo game doesnt remove the engine from the code. Its all still there.

It’s impressive though that the game has multiple engines to run all of the halo games. Halo CE and 2 aren’t hard, but 3, 4, have some of the best graphics engines. Anyway, halo 5 would be too big of an addition for mcc, as a whole, to run well on older gen consoles.

Warzone was really fun, firefight was also fun, even though I wanted the classic, endless waves of enemies firefight, halo 5's was still good. And the Forge was incredible. Technically for Reach and ODST, Chief is kinda in them. For Reach, we help get the Pillar of Autumn away, which contained Chief. In ODST, we see the In Amber Clad right as it jumps through the slipspace rupture. Halo 5 should definitely be included, and it’s also really died off compared to the others in MCC.

Bro I play strictly halo 4, H2A and Ce for the medals when doing the objective modes challenge every single week. There is definately enough players to support all the modes. You have to search a lot of things at once and let it sit a minute, but thats the beauty of that system you can fine tune it or expand it as much as you like depending on how long you mind waiting

@@MicahMillion For Infinite I mean. You joked that they only have 15 players, and I wasn't sure if you were buying into the myth that the game is somehow dead. Also, I play Halo 5 pretty regularly. It takes a while to find matches, but WFF and Warzone, as well as Team Slayer and Super Fiesta still have some life left in them.

I still remember my first impression with halo 5 in person. I went over to a family friends house who kids got me into the series with halo 4, and when I heard they not only got a Xbox one but halo 5 I was excited over playing multiplayer on not just a new console but on a new halo game…..then they mentioned that halo 5 had NO WAY to do local co op….safe to say we were bored as they we (a group of about 6) had to take turn passing the controller in single player after every death.
