Hi. Watching this video, I just remembered a have the 5 Disc Ultimate Edition DVD Set Blade Runner. It was a blind buy when I purchased it wayback. It is stacked with special features, Something the Blu-Ray Disc and 4K UHD Blu-Ray Disc formats has been unable to beat or even match. I just got The Matrix Ultimate 4K Collection, which came out last year and thought it looked absolutely reference quality, not that I have a reference quality setup, but I have to curate my collection very selectively, because this hobby is damn expensive. Here are some other 4K movies I got last year Titanic, True Lies, Aliens, The Fugitive, Heat, The Silence of the Lambs (Arrow), Speed, The Terminator, The Abyss, King Kong (2005). I usually only buy movies I really like or movies that is my favourites, but sometimes I might get a blind buy or buy a movie just for the spectical if it comes with decent extras, like King Kong does. I started collecting VHS with a collection of Schwarzenegger movies from a second hand store, I still have some of them, and even the first DVD I ever bought was End Of Days and I still have that as well, wouldn't mind a 4K of End Of Days with tons of new and archival extras

Jamie a top video don't get me wrong. Upscaleing or polishing 'a cough' can't improve the colour range, try some David attenborough on 4K disc. As many on your own channel have said used Blu-ray is very affordable so I'm sirprised that people by DVD. Anything cheap will sell to the unwashed masses, for example bottom of the barrel news papers Vs more expensive titles. For a video, might you be able to compare a few tites, one each from different decades? As in the same title on on DVD, 4K and Blu-ray, saying how much each can be bought for at the time the video was made, used if that was the case. Yes it is difficult to educate the 'good enough wet blanket' brigade. I can't guarantee every situation, but on occasions higher capacity formats need less disc changing

Obligatory comment. Did you ever manage to get Stranger Things blu ray or 4k?

Yeah I’ve had seasons 1 and 2 in my collections for years, on both Blu-Ray and 4K, so I have both versions
