Why do 50% of some classes fail to graduate? What pitfalls can you avoid in your college career?

I hear what you're saying, and there is certainly some of that. However, schools should do a better job of vetting candidates. I could easily deceive people into purchasing a product if I have expertise and they do not. Young people are constantly marketed/tricked into pursuing higher education for cultural or economic reasons, and if when they do not perform well in this very narrow band of achievement, we place the onus on the student. If 50% of students are failing, that's not a problem with the students. That is a failure of administration to provide proper directives, inspire, and understand their clients.

Your videos have helped me tremendously with multiple classes. But, this I didn’t expect. Something I needed to hear. Keep it coming.

To any other students struggling in their higher level courses, near senior level, I started off strong but I’m losing hope that I even qualify to do anything at this point. I’m going mental trying to make this work and my health is taking massive hits now staying up night after night working on assignments and projects while working to survive on my own. I’ve taken loans but it doesn’t pay for the roof over my head nor any food. I don’t want some pity for my situation. I try to understand but nothing seems to sink in and I feel like nothing clicks like in my sophomore and junior classes now that I’m in this last stretch. I try to teach myself but I can’t seem to understand while I have asked questions to my professors but I feel dumb when the answer is so concise yet I don’t understand it immediately. I really think engineering is amazing and I just want to get to the point I can understand it more even if it’s just passing by the skin of my teeth. This video tells me a lot of what I need to look out for but I don’t even know what I can do anymore other than persevere into tomorrow and lick my wounds from my failures of today. Learning truly is hard but I always try to remember never learning is worse. If you wake up, it’s another chance! Keep going!!!

Did you ever find your way out of these woods? I got nervous when you kept circling aimlessly, lol.
