The album on Bad Boy wasn’t shiny suit album lol. It was still gutta, it just didn’t have T-Mix on there. I’m grateful that they didn’t suffer any label issues which could have shelved their album. They left Suave House due to label issues. Tony Draper shouldn’t have signed that distribution deal with JCOR records either. Suave House could have signed a distribution deal with Koch or something

During their career Ball&G have multiple gold and platinum plaques. They're universally recognized as southern hip hop royalty and pioneers. They made plenty of noise on the independent circuit with Suave House. And they made noise on a major and iconic label like Bad Boy. They've worked with Puff Daddy, Mase, DMX, Bone Thugs, Twista, Outkast, UGK, Master P, Ice Cube, E-40, Too Short, Spice 1, MC Ren, DJ Quik, Fat Joe, Big Pun, Rodman, Busta Rhymes,, Slim Thug, TI, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Big KRIT....just to name a few. How the hell was their growth stunted or potential not reached? No, they never did interviews with Oprah or The Today Show or won Grammy's. But they're still very much legends and highly respected.
