I own a cleaning company as well. This is great advice I learned the hard way. Lol Another tip if they are really soiled I will add a little ammonia to the wash. It wont smell like ammonia when its done. Ammonia will get rid of any harsh smells in those towels. Always always lowest setting on your dryer those towels are basically a type of plastic they will melt and become useless.

@johnmal5975 Thanks for sharing your insights! It's great to hear from a fellow professional. Adding a bit of ammonia is a fantastic tip for tackling heavily soiled towels, and you're right about it not leaving a lingering smell. Also, your advice about using the lowest setting on the dryer is crucial-those microfiber towels can easily get ruined if not handled properly. Thanks again for the valuable tips!

I have decided to buy and start using microfiber clothes at home. It was good to know how to take care of them. I already knew not to use softener 😊

Some towels can actually be washed on 60 or 95 degrees Celsius it depends on the mixture. Theres actually detergents specific to microfiber, mainly found an known from the car detailing and cleaning industry, usually not available in stores.

Who has so many towels that they can create a washer load with just one type? Maybe in America the land of plenty. I rinse cloths after use while the dirt is still fresh. Usually they are small enough that they need a rinse when they become saturated. Use grey cloths where dirt is not as visible. One of the substances wiped up is lint from other fabrics, so it will get in it. Most common "micro" is not so micro compared to natural cotton. They can't hold on to any water.

Another valuable tip! Thanks for sharing this! Question: Is there a specific color assigned to each microfiber cloth based on its intended use?

Thanks so much for your kind words, and I’m glad you found the tips valuable! As for your question about microfiber cloths, yes, many people like to color-code their cloths based on their intended use. This helps prevent cross-contamination and keeps things more organized. Here’s a common color-coding system: Blue: Glass and mirrors Yellow: Dusting Green: Kitchen surfaces Red: Bathrooms Of course, you can create your own system that works best for you. The key is to consistently use the same color for the same type of cleaning to avoid any mix-ups. Thanks again for your question, and happy cleaning!

If you are washing the mf towels on only 20°C, they must still be full of bacteria, especially the ones from the bathroom, is it not?
@DiabsCleaningServicesPTYLTD
@DiabsCleaningServicesPTYLTD 2 күн бұрын
@@yellowdotje6278 thanks for taking your time to watch and comment. While washing towels at 20°C might not kill all bacteria, using a good detergent can help remove most of them. Also we don’t use microfiber towels to clean toilet bowls; for toilets, it's recommended to use disposable towels.
